Hi Amanda, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey began with a deep love for teaching and a passion for helping children succeed. I started my career as an educator, working with young students and discovering the incredible joy of seeing them overcome challenges. I quickly realized that many children needed more personalized support to thrive, and that’s when the idea for Teach Inspire Transform was born.
In the beginning, it was just me, working one-on-one with students and creating tailored lessons to meet their unique needs. Starting a business from scratch wasn’t easy—I had to learn everything from building a curriculum to marketing my services. But my drive to make a difference kept me moving forward.
Over time, word spread, and my little tutoring business began to grow. Families saw the progress their children were making, not just academically but also in their confidence and love for learning. The support from the community fueled my determination to expand my reach and refine my methods.
Today, Teach Inspire Transform has helped countless students achieve their academic goals, and being recognized as the 2023 Best Tutor Provider in Hollywood and the 2024 Best Tutor Provider Service in Hallandale has been a humbling affirmation of the impact we’ve made.
Looking back, the journey has been filled with challenges, but each step has brought me closer to my purpose: transforming lives through education.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all, like any meaningful journey, building Teach Inspire Transform has had its share of challenges. One of the biggest hurdles was starting from scratch. Establishing a reputation, earning the trust of parents, and competing with larger educational services required persistence and a deep belief in my vision.
Another struggle was balancing the administrative side of running a business with the personalized, hands-on approach I wanted to provide for my students. Learning to manage everything—from lesson planning to marketing—while staying true to my passion for teaching wasn’t easy.
Despite these challenges, the rewards have far outweighed the struggles. Seeing students overcome their fears of reading, master skills they once found daunting, and light up with pride in their accomplishments reminds me why I started this journey. Each obstacle has shaped me and the company, helping us grow stronger and more determined to make a difference.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At Teach Inspire Transform, we specialize in providing personalized tutoring for students from VPK to 5th grade in ELA, reading, phonics, language, spelling, writing, and reading comprehension. Our mission is to help each child build a strong foundation in literacy while fostering confidence and a love for learning.
We’re known for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel seen, heard, and capable. Whether it’s mastering sight words, decoding challenging texts, or crafting their first story, we ensure each lesson is tailored to their unique needs and learning styles.
The moments I’m most proud of are when I see the transformation in my students—not just academically, but emotionally. Watching a child light up when they realize they’ve mastered a skill that once seemed impossible is incredibly rewarding. Being recognized as the 2023 Best Tutor Provider in Hollywood and the 2024 Best Tutor Provider Service in Hallandale has been a tremendous honor, reflecting the meaningful impact our work has made within the community.

Our focus extends beyond academics—we strive to build confidence and resilience, empowering our students to tackle challenges with a positive mindset.
We’re also deeply committed to collaboration. I maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates and insights to ensure we’re all working toward the same goals.
What makes you happy?
On a personal level, what makes me happiest is spending quality time with my loved ones, whether that’s sharing a meal, going for a walk, or just enjoying each other’s company. I also find great joy in moments of solitude, where I can reflect, recharge, and focus on my own growth.
I’m happiest when I’m able to be present and appreciate the simple things—like a beautiful sunrise, a good book, or a creative project. These moments remind me of the importance of balance and mindfulness in my life.
At the core of it, I find happiness in the little victories—whether it’s learning something new, setting and achieving personal goals, or simply feeling at peace with where I am in the moment. It’s these quiet, everyday moments that bring me the most contentment.
