Conversations with Alivia Clark

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alivia Clark.

Hi Alivia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve been singing since I could talk. I was born in love with music. I knew from a young age what I wanted to do and started asking my parents to let me sing and act professionally for years when I was little. I ended up getting signed at the age of 8! I grew up working in film, TV, theater, and voice-overs. All this time I would mess around with lyrics and melodies. In high school I released my first original song, and from there I haven’t stopped since.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think it is so important to stay rooted in your passion and remind yourself why you started in the first place. This journey takes a lot of resilience, patience, and belief in yourself, especially during the tougher moments. I try to see challenges as part of the process rather than setbacks! At the end of the day, I always like to say that you only get one life, so spend it doing what you love, with the people you love!

I truly owe so much to my family for getting me through the tough parts. They’ve always been my foundation and my biggest cheerleaders, showing up for me in every way they can. Having that kind of support system has made all the difference in giving me the confidence to pursue this path. My mom, especially, has been such a driving force in my journey. She believed in me before I fully believed in myself and always encouraged me to keep going, even in moments of doubt. She’s found a way to both uplift and challenge me, and that balance has shaped me into the artist I am today.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’d describe my sound as emotional, feminine, and passionate! It lives somewhere between pop, EDM, and R&B, but I love pulling in any new sound or flavor that feels right for the song. Whether that’s something stripped and vulnerable or something more elevated and high-energy. At the core, I’m a storyteller, so every song is meant to feel like a moment you’ve lived through. I want it to hit you in your feelings while still making you fall into a groove.

For me, inspiration is everywhere. The sounds around me, my friends laughing, the guy who you thought broke your heart but only made you realize how strong you are. I just have to keep my eyes and ears open, and the music comes to me. I love genre blending, so different collaborations pull out different sides of my artistry.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I believe luck is really about energy, intention, and timing. I’m big on manifestation and the idea that what you put into the universe comes back to you. As an artist, I’ve always tried to stay positive, work hard, and truly believe the life I want is possible before I can even see it. Of course there have been setbacks too, but a lot of those moments ended up redirecting me toward opportunities that fit me even better. I think confidence, authenticity, and consistency create their own kind of luck!
