Today we’d like to introduce you to Afiya Rick.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story starts in Chicago, IL. Born and raised on the south side of the city. Went to public school and boarding school for high school and ended up on the east coast at Smith College. Graduated and obtained a job in New York. I work in finance currently and have been licensed for the last 26 years. Started my career in New York yet started traveling to south florida for work and bought a condo here. Not sure what the premise of the interview is but I raised $2billion + for 2 Fortune 500 companies and transition in 2026 to entrepreneurship. We train and license individuals looking for extra income or a career change to go out and help families plan and reach their financial goals. From Roth IRA’s to 529 College Savings plans to Debt Elimination planning and more, we help average everyday hardworking families closer to their financial goals and dreams
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to success is never smooth as I have learned from my mentors. Many of the struggles we can discuss because I don’t necessarily want to reveal them on this particular QUESTIONAIRE. I usually have a conversation with someone prior to an interview so forgive me if I am not comfortable YET with this format
