Hi Stefano, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Miami, surrounded by architecture, design, and construction from an early age. My grandfather, Giorgio Balli Sr., founded Balli Group over 45 years ago, laying the groundwork for what would become a multi-generational legacy defined by craftsmanship, integrity, and timeless design.
My father, Giorgio Balli, a renowned architect, expanded the company into a full design-build firm, uniting architecture and construction under one cohesive vision. My mother, Adi Balli, is the creative force behind our interiors — her refined sense of proportion, texture, and atmosphere has become synonymous with our brand. Together, they built more than a company; they built a philosophy grounded in artistry, discipline, and excellence.
Growing up, I was constantly immersed in that world — walking job sites, sitting in design meetings, and learning the language of proportion, light, and detail. Those early experiences taught me that true luxury isn’t about excess; it’s about precision, material honesty, and restraint.
Today, I’m proud to carry that legacy forward as the next generation, leading Balli Group into its next chapter. We continue to deliver architectural residences that balance beauty and performance, where every joint, line, and material is deliberately considered. Whether it’s a private home or a large-scale development, our standard remains uncompromising — each project must reflect the excellence in quality and design that defines the Balli name.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like any journey worth pursuing, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. Building in Miami — especially at the level of detail and quality that we demand — comes with constant challenges. From permitting delays to supply chain issues, weather impacts, and the complexities of managing multiple trades on site, there are endless moving parts that must align perfectly.
What has always grounded me is process and persistence. Early on, I realized that excellence doesn’t happen by accident — it requires systems, discipline, and clear communication between every pillar of our company: architecture, construction, and interiors. I’ve had to learn how to balance creativity with accountability, and how to build a structure around innovation so that great design can actually come to life.
Another challenge has been growth without dilution — scaling the company while protecting the DNA that my family built 45 years ago. As we take on larger projects and expand into development, maintaining that same level of craftsmanship and intimacy has been a constant focus. Every decision, from who we hire to the materials we use, is measured against one question: Does it meet our standard of excellence?
Through all of it, I’ve come to see challenges as part of the refinement process. Every obstacle sharpens our attention to detail, strengthens our systems, and ultimately reinforces what makes Balli Group what it is — a firm built on integrity, precision, and pride in the work we deliver.
