Today we’d like to introduce you to Sergio Troconis.
Hi Sergio, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my journey in 2018 when I left my first and last corporate job and went headfirst into entrepreneurship. That same year, I got into the marketing space through building my personal brand, and once I started seeing results, I began helping other people do the same.
Over the last eight years, I’ve personally led more than 1,350 one on one strategy campaigns for clients. Throughout that time, I’ve also helped develop systems for seven and eight figure businesses, worked alongside hedge funds to help scale operational systems, and partnered with businesses across different industries to improve marketing, PR, and business development.
My experience has really been a combination of marketing, publicity, systems, psychology, and understanding how businesses grow through attention and positioning. A big part of how I got where I am today comes down to perseverance and consistency. There’s no magic formula. I focused on getting better every single day, continuing to learn, adapting to changes in the industry, and staying committed to the craft.
That mindset is what allowed me to build The Impact Society into a successful PR and publicity firm in a relatively short period of time. Our team focuses heavily on strategy, customer experience, psychology driven marketing, and helping brands position themselves with authority and visibility at scale. Today, our primary focus is working with larger brands and mid sized businesses that are looking to expand their reach, strengthen their reputation, and grow strategically.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not. It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Entrepreneurship has given me some of the highest highs and also some very difficult moments. I’ve made a lot of money, I’ve lost money, I’ve been part of businesses that scaled quickly, and I’ve also seen businesses stop working after six months or a year because markets shift, consumer behavior changes, or industries evolve.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is how important adaptability is, especially in marketing and PR. This industry is constantly changing. What works today might not work six months from now, so there are moments where you have to completely reposition offers, rebrand, optimize systems, and rethink how you create value for clients. That process can be challenging because you’re making decisions in real time while still trying to keep operations moving forward.
Like most entrepreneurs, there were periods where cash flow was tight, where I had to figure out how to bring more revenue into the business, create new opportunities, and keep growing despite uncertainty. But I’ve always believed in failing forward. Every obstacle taught me something valuable, whether it was about leadership, sales, communication, systems, or resilience.
At the same time, I think the hardest part of entrepreneurship isn’t even the business itself. It’s the personal development that comes with it. Owning a business forces you to confront your insecurities, your emotions, your fears, and the parts of yourself you may have ignored for years. Business becomes a mirror. It reflects back exactly what you need to work on internally in order to lead effectively and handle difficult situations the right way.
That’s probably been the toughest challenge of all, balancing the pressure of solving real business problems while also managing the internal growth and emotional discipline required to navigate those moments properly. But in many ways, that’s also what makes entrepreneurship so transformative.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
The Impact Society is a premium PR, media placement, and publicity management agency dedicated to helping visionary founders, entrepreneurs, and founder-led businesses build lasting authority, secure high-profile media exposure, and convert visibility into sustainable revenue and influence.
We specialize in strategic publicity and brand elevation—securing premium placements in top-tier outlets (Forbes, Entrepreneur, Yahoo Finance, Business Insider, major podcasts, print magazines, and beyond), developing authoritative positioning, and creating systems that turn media wins into long-term business assets. Our work goes far beyond surface-level content or campaigns: we manage end-to-end narrative control and publicity strategy for leaders who want to own their industry narrative.
What sets us apart is our founder-centric, results-obsessed approach. Built from real entrepreneurial experience by Sergio Troconis, Impact Society bridges the common gap many founders face—gaining attention but struggling to turn it into authority and consistent growth. We focus on high-leverage media placement combined with strategic systems that deliver measurable outcomes, not just impressions.
We’re most proud of operating as a true partner in publicity management that helps clients move from unknown to recognized authority with clarity, confidence, and credibility.
For readers, we want you to know that Impact Society exists to elevate founder-led brands through sophisticated PR, media placement, and publicity strategies designed for maximum impact. Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I would say adaptability, emotional intelligence, perseverance, and discipline are some of the most important qualities behind my success. Entrepreneurship constantly puts you in situations where you have to make decisions under pressure, solve problems in real time, and continue moving forward even when things are uncertain. Being emotionally intelligent enough to navigate those moments properly is extremely important, especially when leading a team, managing clients, and building long term relationships.
I also believe relentlessness and patience go hand in hand. A lot of success comes from being patient enough to solve challenges one step at a time instead of panicking when obstacles appear. Every business, every industry, and every stage of growth comes with problems. The key is being willing to sit with those challenges, figure them out, and continue adapting until you find a solution.
One thing that has always been important to me is finishing what I start. Whether something succeeds or fails, I believe there’s value in seeing things through and learning from the process. I don’t leave things unfinished. That mentality has helped me build resilience, gain experience, and continue growing both personally and professionally over the years.
At the end of the day, I think success is less about motivation and more about consistency, self awareness, and the ability to continue showing up regardless of the circumstances.
