Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Doyle
Sarah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started with Valerie Wilson Travel in 2022 as an “Independent Advisor”. My 2 beautiful girls, Ava and Jordanna, were in highschool and had their driver’s licenses. I quickly realized that even with all of my philanthropic commitments, I had a lot of extra time on my hands. I wanted to fill that time with a productive and gratifying career.
I took my time exploring various options. Ultimately, I deduced that, between my love of travel, knack for organization & event planning, and the need to be able to work from anywhere in the world, becoming a Travel Advisor would be the perfect career for me.
I completed a very thorough training program with Valerie Wilson Travel and also with Virtuoso. From there I hit the ground running. My first bookings were from family and friends. As I shared my new and exciting endeavour with family, friends and acquaintances, via various mediums, my business began to grow. I am grateful to have an incredible network and a supportive.
Most recently I joined a seasoned team further enhancing our Power of Axis.
I love what I do; from the planning process, to interacting with clients to making dream vacations come true!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It truly has been a smooth road. I don’t know if I could say that if I hadn’t been trained by one of the best agencies in the business. Valerie Wilson Travel is a class act and provides all the tools and support an advisor needs (and then some) to be successful.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
It’s important to understand the value I add to a client’s overall travel experience, from beginning to end. I deliver a superior planning and travel experience the minute we agree to work together. As a Valerie Wilson advisor and Virtuoso member I have access to an incredibly powerful network with endless resources. I’ll provide options clients may not know exist, amenities & benefits one wouldn’t otherwise have access to, and most important, I provide my clients with the assurance of knowing that if something goes askew, I have them covered. Travel shouldn’t be stressful if planned properly.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Everytime I attend an event or join a call I leave with more tools, information and contacts. My advise would be to participate in as much as possible…the travel industry is dynamic and ever-changing. That’s part of its lure.
