Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Porciello.
Hi Samantha, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my journey with a deep passion for wellness, human connection, and helping people feel better in their bodies. I’m originally from Italy, and after moving to the United States about 12 years ago, I began building my career from the ground up. I became a licensed massage therapist and started working independently, focusing on personalized, high-quality mobile services.
Over time, I realized that my work was not just about physical relief, but also about emotional well-being and overall lifestyle. This pushed me to expand my knowledge into areas like recovery, biohacking, and holistic health. I’ve always been very curious and driven, so I continuously look for ways to grow, learn, and offer more value to my clients.
Today, I run my own mobile massage business in Miami, working with a diverse clientele and focusing on delivering both results and a luxury experience. At the same time, I’m exploring new opportunities to grow my brand, including wellness products and deeper work related to the mind-body connection.
My journey has been very hands-on and self-built, shaped by resilience, adaptability, and a strong desire to create something meaningful and independent.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges was starting over in a new country without a network or clear direction. I had to build everything from scratch, my career, my client base, and my confidence in a completely different environment.
Working independently also comes with its own difficulties. There’s no guaranteed income, so I had to learn how to manage uncertainty, stay disciplined, and continuously promote myself. In the beginning, finding consistent clients and positioning myself in a competitive market like Miami was not easy.
Another challenge has been balancing physical work with long-term growth. Massage therapy is very hands-on, and I quickly realized that if I wanted to grow, I needed to think beyond just trading time for money and start building something more scalable.
There were also moments of doubt, especially when things didn’t move as fast as I expected. But those experiences pushed me to become more resilient, adaptable, and focused. Each obstacle taught me something valuable, and ultimately helped me grow both personally and professionally.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Healing Touch Miami is a mobile wellness service focused on delivering high-quality, personalized massage therapy directly to clients in the comfort of their own space. I specialize in therapeutic and recovery-based treatments, including deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, cupping, Thai massage, shiatsu , prenatal and relaxation techniques, always tailored to each individual’s needs.
What sets my business apart is the combination of results-driven treatments and a luxury, client-centered experience. I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” sessions, every treatment is customized based on how the client feels physically and emotionally that day. I also focus on creating a safe, calming environment where clients can fully disconnect and recharge.
Over time, my approach has evolved beyond just massage. I’m deeply interested in overall wellness, recovery, and the mind-body connection, and I continuously integrate new techniques and knowledge to improve my services. My goal is not just to provide temporary relief, but to support long-term well-being and help clients feel more balanced, energized, and aligned.
What I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with my clients and the fact that many of them return consistently and refer others. Healing Touch Miami has grown organically through word of mouth, which reflects the quality and care I put into my work.
Ultimately, I want people to see my brand as more than just a massage service, it’s a personalized wellness experience designed to support both physical and mental health in a meaningful way.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
believe mentorship doesn’t always have to be formal. For me, it’s been about learning from people I respect, sometimes directly, and sometimes just by observing how they work, communicate, and grow their business.
One thing that has worked well for me is being proactive and putting myself in the right environments. Whether it’s through clients, collaborations, or social media, I’ve built connections by showing up consistently and providing real value. A lot of my networking has happened organically through my work.
My advice is to not wait for the “perfect mentor,” but instead stay open and curious. You can learn something from almost everyone if you pay attention. At the same time, don’t be afraid to reach out to people you admire—keep it genuine, be respectful of their time, and focus on building a real connection rather than asking for something right away.
Also, I think it’s important to invest in yourself. Sometimes mentorship comes through courses, experiences, or even challenging situations that force you to grow.
Overall, networking and mentorship, for me, have been about authenticity, consistency, and being willing to step out of my comfort zone.
