My name is Pasquale Marotta, I was born in Napoli, Italy. I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs renowned for their ingenuity. I have continued this tradition through the MAROTTA brand. Our first location opened in Napoli, Italy with a factory specializing in luxury linen production. We subsequently introduced our brand to the prestigious Worth Avenue area in Palm Beach and later expanded into Delray Beach on the Atlantic Avenue’s vibrant Main Street. In Napoli, our family – owned business remains dedicated to crafting our signature linen collection.
At MAROTTA, we are committed to delivering luxurious, exclusive, and personalized tailoring experiences. Embracing the artisan traditions of Italy, we place great emphasis on meticulous craftsmanship throughout every stage from initial design sketches to final presentation within our boutiques. The inspiration for MAROTTA’s linen fabrics is drawn from vivid colors, stunning seascapes, lemons, and flowers of the Almalfi Coast, with simple natural elements reflected in our designs.
Central to our ethos is a focus on personalized service, exemplifying by my wife Esperanza Marotta, who warmly welcomes each client and ensures they leave satisfied. Our motto, Visit MAROTTA as a a customer and leave as a friend”, underscores our dedication to building genuine relationships. Furthermore, we believe in giving back to our community; MAROTTA actively supports non-profit and charitable organizations including the Cancer Society, Meals on Wheels, Salvation Army, Children’s Centers and Hospitals amount others.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No it hasn’t been a smooth road at all, like many entrepreneurs I have encountered various challenges throughout my career. In boutique businesses, it is typical to manage multiple responsibilities, including marketing, operation management, and bookkeeping, among others. Market fluctuations are often unpredictable and given that we source all our products from Italy, tariff have had a considerable impact on our purchasing strategies. Each day presents new issues that require timely and effective solutions. Through this experience, I have developed patience, resilience, and perseverance under pressure. Every challenge faced while building our brand has contributed to its development and identity. I am sincerely grateful for the trust our clients place in us and remain committed to providing the highest standard of service. Our clients frequently acknowledge the personal attention they receive as a distinguishing aspect of our business. I take pride in the loyalty our clients continue to show by returning and entrusting us with their styling needs, and their continued support is invaluable to us.

Avoid making hasty decisions-exercise patience and resilience, and anticipate encountering various setbacks before achieving your goals. Consistently and perseverance are essential drivers. Challenges are inevitable, so focus on finding effective solutions. Each path to success differs; while my own experience has presented challenges, I value the lessons gained and acknowledge that the benefits recognize that the rewards have ultimately outweighed the obstacles.
