Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like most meaningful journeys, it came with its share of challenges. Building a veterinary career—especially one rooted in high standards of care—requires years of education, constant learning, and a great deal of sacrifice. Transitioning between different systems, cultures, and professional environments required adaptability, resilience, and patience.

There were moments that tested me, from long hours and limited resources early on, to the pressures of balancing medical excellence with the realities of running a modern practice. Navigating regulations, staffing, and the emotional weight that comes with caring deeply for both animals and their families was not always easy.

However, each challenge became a lesson. Those experiences shaped the way I practice medicine today—with empathy, precision, and a strong commitment to integrity. The struggles reinforced my belief that veterinary medicine is not just a profession, but a responsibility and a calling. Looking back, every obstacle played a role in preparing me to build a practice that truly serves the community

We’ve been impressed with Care For Paws Animal Hospital LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Care for Paws Animal Hospital was created with a very simple but powerful mission: to provide high-quality, compassionate veterinary care while treating every pet as if they were our own. We are a full-service animal hospital offering preventive care, diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care, with a strong emphasis on education and long-term wellness.

What truly sets us apart is the way we blend medical excellence with genuine human connection. Veterinary medicine is not only about treating animals—it’s about supporting the people who love them. We take the time to listen, explain, and partner with pet owners, so they feel confident and supported in every decision.

We are also proud of our commitment to modern medicine and technology while maintaining a personalized, neighborhood-hospital feel. Our practice emphasizes accuracy in diagnostics, thoughtful treatment plans, and ethical medicine—never rushing care or recommending unnecessary services.

From a brand perspective, what I am most proud of is the trust we are building within the community. Care for Paws is known for transparency, integrity, and consistency. We aim to be a place where clients feel welcome, respected, and reassured, and where pets feel safe and cared for.

Above all, I want readers to know that Care for Paws is more than a veterinary clinic—it is a partnership with pet families. Our goal is to be a reliable, compassionate presence throughout every stage of a pet’s life, and to raise the standard of care through kindness, education, and excellence.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Yes — I believe learning and growth are ongoing processes, and I draw inspiration and support from a variety of resources that help me stay sharp, balanced, and grounded both professionally and personally.
At work, some of the tools that make a real difference include:

Veterinary-specific apps and platforms that keep me connected with the latest clinical guidelines, medical calculators, and continuing education—helping ensure the care we provide is evidence-based and up to date.

Practice management and communication tools that help our team stay organized, streamline workflows, and improve client communication—ultimately making care easier and more efficient for everyone.
I also follow several veterinary and animal-health blogs and professional communities that foster connection and shared learning among practitioners. They are great places to exchange ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and stay inspired by the broader veterinary community.

Ultimately, the resources that help me most are the ones that reinforce lifelong learning, meaningful relationships, and a sense of balance between work and life. These tools keep me thoughtful, curious, and ready to show up fully—for my patients, my team, and my family.
