Hi Narjara, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey began in the most humble way: doing my mom’s nails, my family’s, and my friends’ in the dining room of our home in Guantánamo. It was my way of helping while I studied, easing some of the weight my mother carried, and feeling that I could contribute something, even if it was small. A very dear aunt gifted me my first nail tools, and with that, I discovered not only a craft, but a special connection to care, detail, and beauty.
When I emigrated to the United States, I had to start from zero, and I learned that to do nails here I needed a license, something I never imagined. At first, I thought I would work in something else: restaurants or cafés, but life led me back to this world. I began studying, working hard, and preparing myself to practice professionally, always holding on to the dream of having my own space again. I started working as a nail technician in a salon in Kendall, where I spent several years learning new techniques and developing everything I had learned in class.
This year, 2025, began full of changes for me and decisions that pushed me out of my comfort zone but they were completely necessary. That was when the idea that never left my side finally became reality: the dream of creating my own space. Not just a salon, but a place where every person who walks in can feel peace, warmth, detail, and that breath of relief we all need. I wanted more than just doing nails; I wanted to create a ritual, a refuge, a small sanctuary for the soul.
Today, that dream is called Narhara Nails.
Every corner, every scent, every detail of this place is born from my story, my sacrifices, my family, and every client who has trusted me. Narhara Nails is not just a beauty salon, it is the result of a lifetime of effort, love, dedication, and faith that we all deserve a space where we can feel cared for and truly special.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all, it has definitely not been a smooth road. My journey has been beautiful, but it has also been full of challenges.
I started doing nails in the most humble setting, in the dining room of my home in Guantánamo, Cuba. When I came to the United States, everything I knew stayed behind. I had to start from zero, new country, new rules, new expectations. I didn’t even know I needed a license to do nails here, so I had to go back to studying, learn the system, and rebuild my path.
At the beginning, I thought I would end up working in restaurants because I didn’t imagine the beauty industry could become a real career for me. But I pushed myself, earned my license, and began working in a salon in Kendall. Those early years were a combination of long hours, learning new techniques, adapting to a completely different culture, and proving myself in an industry that can be very competitive.
2025 brought another set of challenges, life changes that forced me out of my comfort zone and into big decisions. Opening my own salon was not easy. It meant taking risks, investing everything I had, leaving stability behind, and facing the fear of the unknown. But it also meant trusting my vision and believing in a dream I carried for years.
Every obstacle taught me resilience. Every sacrifice reminded me why I started. And every challenge pushed me closer to creating Narhara Nails, a space built from love, faith, and the belief that everyone deserves a sanctuary where they can feel cared for and special.
The road has had many ups and downs, but each step has shaped the business and the woman I am today.

Narhara Nails Miami is a nail and spa studio located in Miami, FL, focused on offering high-quality manicure, pedicure spa, and complementary treatments designed to elevate the client experience and restore value to personal time through nail care.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I hold a university background in Sociology and Communication (incomplete) from my home country, and I am a licensed Nail Specialist in the state of Florida. I have also worked in customer service for more than 10 years, which has shaped the way I treat and understand people.
Our services are designed so that each session encourages clients to relax, take the breath they deserve, and shift the idea that nail care is merely a luxury—it’s also a necessary moment of self-care. It’s an essential pause in a busy daily schedule that constantly tells us we don’t have time for ourselves.
Clients love our space because they feel it is a place where they can relax and be pampered. I focus not only on uplifting their mood but also on stimulating their senses. My personal brand aims to empower through self-care and help people reconnect with themselves through beauty.
