Hi Michelle, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have worked in real estate as an investor, property manager, and agent in Palm Beach County since 1996. I have lived and raised two children in the Palm Beach Gardens area. The pandemic was a stressful time for the world, and I turned to meditation to help ease the gravity of the situation. I am a single mother, and I had a child who was in 8th grade and one in 10th grade. I was furloughed from my job, and nothing was moving in real estate. As I felt I needed help from somewhere, I started researching information about angels and ended up taking an angel healing course from Holistic Arts Institute. I was inspired!
I created a business on paper and called it PaxQi which is a name which I made up which means peaceful life force. I wanted to do what I could to help bring more peace and harmony to all the chaos, so I created a website and a blog. The blog includes sixteen archangel meditations for sixteen different archangels and includes colors, crystals, essential oils, and music associated with each Archangel. I also offered DIY recipes (do it yourself) hand sanitizer, aromatherapy bath salts, and essential oil sprays. I also wanted to offer crystals, candles, and essential oils for sale on the website. Once I got going, I didn’t stop!
I ended up learning about Feng Shui and how to use it to provide more peace and harmony in my home and created a couple of Feng Shui beginner blog posts. From there, I decided to offer accent furniture, throws, pillows, and unique containers to the product list. I have created it all myself and put a lot of time and energy into https://elevatethevibrations.com in hopes it would bring comfort, peace, and happiness to a world that sometimes feels full of chaos and stress.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
LOL, not a smooth road but an interesting journey. I relate it to hiking through a forest of trees, over hills and mountains, and shortly, hopefully finding a nice clear path. It is not easy to be an entrepreneur. You try and fail and try and fail until you finally want to give up hope that maybe you should just not. But then something sparks your creativity and you revisit your idea and try something new or post something you feel good about and the cycle starts again.
I had given up on my website and did not renew the domain name paxqi.com. When I revisited my site and renewed my drive to keep it going, I lost the domain name. I had to rename the site elevatethevibrations.com and revise all of my content! I won’t do that again.
