I’ve always had a passion for problem-solving and helping people, which naturally led me into entrepreneurship. I spent nearly a decade in corporate America as a Chief Operating Officer, helping million-dollar businesses grow, but something was missing—I wanted to build something of my own that made a direct impact.
As a mother to a neurodiverse child, I know firsthand how important it is to have access to resources, especially in healthcare. That inspired me to co-found Haven Health Group, a health insurance agency that ensures families get the coverage they need without unnecessary stress or confusion.
It hasn’t always been easy—balancing motherhood, business, and my personal growth has been a journey. But every challenge has shaped me into a stronger, savvier entrepreneur. Today, I’m proud to say we’ve helped countless clients regain control of their health insurance and their peace of mind. This is only the beginning—I’m just getting warmed up!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth? Far from it! Building Haven Health Group has been an adventure filled with highs and lows. Starting any business comes with its share of challenges, and for me, it was about navigating the complexities of the healthcare industry while stepping out of the comfort zone of corporate America.
One of the biggest hurdles was earning people’s trust in an industry where skepticism runs high. It wasn’t enough to simply offer health insurance solutions—I had to create a process that felt personal, transparent, and genuinely helpful for every client.
On top of that, balancing entrepreneurship with my responsibilities as a mother has been no easy task. There were moments of doubt, financial challenges, and sleepless nights, but every setback pushed me to grow stronger, smarter, and more resourceful.
While the road hasn’t been easy, the impact we’ve made so far makes it all worth it. Challenges are just part of the journey, and I’ve learned to embrace them as opportunities to grow.

For far too long, mental health wasn’t given the priority it deserved, but recent legislation has introduced better coverage options that include therapy, counseling, and even wellness programs as part of standard health plans. This is a game-changer for so many individuals and families who need these services but couldn’t afford or access them before.
Beyond mental health, the new bill changes have improved affordability and accessibility. Subsidies have been expanded, so more people can qualify for lower premiums, and there’s a stronger emphasis on tailoring plans to meet individual needs.
