Community Highlights: Meet Megan Gribble of Megan Gribble Home

Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Gribble

Hi Megan , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m Megan. I’m the creative behind Megan Gribble Home.

I’m a new mama, fashionista, creative soul, and passionate real estate agent thats goal is to bring a new light to the real estate and interior design industry that we’ve been missing. I have an eye for design, a spunky personality, and extensive marketing and business background that has helped me create this place I call – Megan Gribble Home.

After growing up in an entrepreneur household – I was raised on all things design and business. My mom was an interior designer. I grew up watching her transform spaces and fell in love with everything that encompassed the design world.

I’m a true people person. That’s really the reason I became a real estate agent. I wanted to be a part of one of the biggest parts of a persons life – and make it just a little easier on them.

All my passions really fell into place. Now, I have the pleasure of helping people find their dream home, or make it one… or even better – both!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Owning a business is never easy. If someone tells you it is, they’re lying ;). Being a business owner means the clock never stops. As with anything, there are positives and negatives to being your own boss. You make the rules. You write the script. You also work non-stop. There is no 9-5. It is full of many nighttime negotiations, weekend open houses, working on vacation, and no clocking out.

One of the hardest parts for me, being a people pleaser, was to learn to set boundaries and expectations to ensure that I am providing top notch service and quality – while not sacrificing my own health, time and family (something especially important to me now as a mama). It has taken a lot of work to set up business processes that allow me to provide what my clients deserve, while also setting boundaries of my personal time. I can honestly say that it is SO important. We as business owners can not give our all to our clients unless we are filling our own cup. It goes hand in hand and is so vital. I love my clients. I love my people. I love my family. I love what I do.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Megan Gribble Home?
We are a full service interior design and real estate firm that specializes in helping people find a home and make it one – and beyond.

Our design aesthetic is modern, organic and transitional. We love a fun twist on a timeless design. Make it cool. Make it bold. Make it unique. We are so proud of every design we execute. Each design is tailored to the family – their likes, dislikes, and of course, our signature style. We offer everything from full home remodeling and construction, to single space renovations and full furnishing. We are a turn key design service with the full white glove effect.

We are also very proud of the service we provide to our real estate clients. I am lucky enough to have a business partner, Brandon Sargent, to do all real estate transactions with. This is what sets us apart. Together, we attend every showing. We are constant communicators. We give back, tenfold. We fight hard for our clients, and it shows. It is truly our passion to help people with one of the biggest transactions of their lives, and be there every step along the way.

What matters most to you?
Making a difference. I LOVE my people. At the end of the day, I love seeing pretty things. I love curating pretty things. But the icing on the cake is making people happy. Home is so important. In the crazy world we live in that is often fast and furious… home is your safe place. It is so important to me that we are there for our clients in ever facet that we can be. Whether it be a listening ear, a shark negotiator, or curating a dream space – our clients are what matters most.
