Hi Marcelo, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
It all started back in 2019, when I decided to turn a small neighborhood pool route into something bigger. In the early days, I handled everything on my own: from the service work to managing clients and keeping the business running. I focused on doing things the right way: building genuine relationships with homeowners, being reliable, and showing up when I said I would. Most of my first clients were right around the neighborhood, and through word of mouth, the business slowly began to grow. One pool became five, five became twenty, and soon I realized I needed help.

As the demand grew, so did the vision. I began hiring and training technicians who shared the same values of professionalism, consistency, and caring for every pool as if it were their own. Step by step, we built a small team, invested in equipment, and eventually moved into our office in the Country Walk area: a major milestone for us.

It wasn’t until 2024 that my wife, Maray, formally joined the company. As the business grew, it became more difficult for me to handle all operational, administrative, and financial processes alone. When she stepped in, she began taking responsibility for the company’s internal structure, helping organize finances, operations, scheduling, and supporting the team. Her discipline and dedication strengthened our foundation, and her role has since become essential to the company’s continued growth.

Today, we proudly serve all of Miami-Dade County, South Broward, and even extend our services to the Florida Keys.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like most small business stories, ours came with plenty of lessons and late nights. One of the toughest parts was finding the right people to join our team. Pool maintenance requires more than just technical skill: it’s about trust, consistency, and attention to detail. Early on, we faced challenges with turnover and training, but instead of rushing to grow, we focused on building a solid foundation and culture. We now have a group of technicians who truly care about the quality of their work, and that makes all the difference. Another big challenge was weather and logistics. South Florida can be unpredictable (heavy rains, hurricanes, heat waves) all of which affect pool conditions and scheduling. We had to create systems to respond quickly and make sure our clients always felt taken care of, even during chaotic times.

Our focus is on keeping pools healthy, safe, and worry-free. That means crystal-clear water, balanced chemicals, and properly maintained equipment. We handle everything from weekly cleanings and filter maintenance to pump and heater repairs, inspections, and full equipment upgrades. Over the years, we’ve built strong relationships with homeowners, property managers, HOAs, and even local hotels: all through word of mouth and consistent service quality.
