Community Highlights: Meet Lelisabel Padilla of Realtor Isa Padilla

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lelisabel Padilla

Lelisabel, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
From Venezuela to Florida: A Journey of Growth, Passion, and Success

My name is Lelisabel Padilla, though everyone calls me Isa, and my story is a testament to the importance of adaptability, perseverance, and teamwork. I graduated from university with a degree in Business Administration. I began my career in Venezuela, working for over 12 years at a subsidiary of Ford Motor Venezuela, which allowed me to develop a strong professional foundation and understand the value of dedication and commitment in business.

Three years ago, I made the decision to start a new life in the United States. It was a challenge, but also an opportunity to reinvent myself. Before making that decision, I had a life-changing experience: I was kidnapped, which marked a before and after in my life. That situation made me value even more the importance of freedom, safety, and the opportunity to start over. Despite everything I went through, I decided I had to move forward. I began my training as a tax preparer, obtained my Life and Annuities insurance license, and at the same time, immersed myself in the culinary world, becoming a sushi chef at a Jewish restaurant. It was a continuous learning process, but I always had the clear goal of continuing to grow and exploring new opportunities.

My passion for real estate investment led me to obtain my Real Estate license. Today, I specialize in helping international clients invest in pre-construction properties in Florida, with a focus on areas like Brickell and Orlando. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to organize important events, such as the one I held in June in Barranquilla, Colombia, and most recently in Santiago, Chile.

Additionally, I came up with a great idea that I was able to develop, and together with a group of partners and friends, we created the Florida Luxury Market group, with the goal of fostering the city’s economic growth and contributing to the development of the real estate market in the United States. I firmly believe in the power of teamwork and the positive impact that collective effort can have on the global community.

My approach has always been to stay true to my principles, believe in God, and work with passion for what I do. Every step I’ve taken has been a lesson that has allowed me to get to where I am today: enjoying every accomplishment and every opportunity to continue learning and helping others.

Now more than ever, I am convinced that life offers us endless opportunities to reinvent ourselves and help others achieve their goals. Let’s keep moving forward, always with faith and determination!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey has not been easy, and I’ve had to overcome many obstacles, both external and internal. One of the biggest challenges was dealing with my own fears and doubts. When I decided to move to the United States, I felt a great deal of uncertainty. I often found myself struggling with the thought that perhaps I wouldn’t achieve my goals due to the fierce competition in the market, the language barrier, and the fact that everything was completely new to me. Many people told me it would be very difficult to succeed, that the competition in real estate was too high, and that I wouldn’t have enough time to learn everything I needed, especially in a language I wasn’t fluent in.

The fear of not reaching my goals was something I battled with for a long time. Learning a new language, adjusting to a new culture, and starting from scratch seemed like an overwhelming challenge. However, I decided not to let those fears stop me. I started learning little by little, without rushing, but with a firm determination to move forward, even when I felt unsure of myself. Over time, I was able to obtain my licenses and establish myself in the real estate sector, all while continuing to improve my English. Throughout this process, I learned that the real obstacle is not the competition or the language, but the fears we impose on ourselves. Every small step brought me closer to my dreams, and today I know that those challenges were just opportunities in disguise for growth.

As you know, we’re big fans of Realtor Isa Padilla. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a Realtor associated with the brokerage Fortex Realty, and recently we formed a group called Florida Luxury Market, made up of professionals from different brokerages. Together, we believe that collaboration leads to greater success.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck has played a positive role in my life and business, but I also believe it’s not the only key to success. I’ve been fortunate to come across opportunities that have allowed me to grow, but all of that has been paired with consistent and hard work. I firmly believe that luck doesn’t come on its own; it’s the combination of being prepared, working hard, and maintaining a positive attitude that truly makes a difference. Even when things don’t go as expected, I’ve learned that every challenge is an opportunity to improve. My experience has taught me that when hard work and luck align, success is the result of that connection.
