Today we’d like to introduce you to Jed Shlackman.
Hi Jed, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began my career as I developed an interest in psychology as an undergraduate at the University of Miami and completed a B.A. in psychology and a Master’s degree in counseling. As I entered the psychotherapy field gaining experience with clients I was on my own deeper personal journey of healing and spiritual exploration. That pursuit led me to research and experience a wide range of holistic healing modalities which I later integrated into my professional work as a therapist assisting other people. My work now combines regular counseling work with hypnotherapy, energy healing, sound healing, holistic wellness and lifestyle guidance, and other resources to help clients restore their mental and physical health and transform their lives.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Some of the struggles have included adjusting to the cultural and economic environment, managing and marketing my own business, and adapting to rapidly changing technology as methods of connecting and communicating with the public evolve.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Psychoenergetic Healing?
My business is a private therapy practice that works with clients in person or virtually via phone or Internet. I provide a range of therapy resources including counseling, hypnotherapy, regression therapy, sound healing energy healing, Reiki, meditation, spiritual guidance, natural healing resources, and more. I am proud of my holistic in depth approach that addresses the unique needs and challenges of each client. I also am grateful to provide education to the public, much of it at no cost to them, that they can apply to support their own health and healing journeys. I believe that the resources and expertise I share are a premiere offering and exceptional value for anyone seeking the type of guidance and assistance I offer.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Looking for people in your field that you admire as experts or leaders and seeking opportunities to study with them or observe them as they work is a great way to receive mentoring. In general let people know that you value and respect their contribution to the field and would like to have them as a contact and resource to refer people to.
