Hi Jarad, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Miami before relocating to Palm Beach County. I embarked on my academic journey at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in political science. I then pursued a legal education at St. Thomas University in Miami, ultimately earning my Juris Doctorate.
After completing my legal studies, I launched my career in law with a strong commitment to justice. I eventually transitioned into civil practice, specializing in complex civil litigation. However, a pivotal moment in June 2018 led to a profound shift in my life. The adoption of my son gave me a new sense of purpose, and I decided to retire from my legal practice to fully embrace the responsibilities of parenthood.
As my son began his educational journey, I found myself drawn back to a longstanding passion: philanthropy. Leveraging my network and compassionate spirit, I began forging meaningful connections with local charitable organizations, focusing primarily on initiatives that support underprivileged children.
Driven by a desire to merge my philanthropic work with my love for fashion, I made a bold move into the world of styling. Now, as a full-time stylist, I use my keen eye for aesthetics and creative vision to help individuals express themselves authentically through fashion. My editorial styling contributions to esteemed publications like Brickell Magazine also highlight my versatility and artistry in this field.
My multifaceted career journey reflects my unwavering dedication to philanthropy and my innate ability to effect positive change in both the legal and fashion worlds. My story is a testament to the power of pursuing one’s passions with purpose and compassion.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not exactly smooth because I’m jumping in feet first from a whole different pool (law) but also easier than expected. Partly because I was already heavily immersed in the fashion world so I had a lot of relationships already.
We’ve been impressed with Jarad’s Stylish Ways , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
So I am a full service fashion stylist. From closet editing, day to day styling, event styling, and personal shopping, I can do it all. I focus on the details that others may miss, by really tapping into what makes my client’s personal style special.
What matters most to you?
My family matters most to me. I made the switch from corporate world of big law to a fashion career because I needed to be in control of my time as much as possible because my family comes first. Being able to exist in a world of beauty and splendor while experiencing the joys of fatherhood is the ultimate gift for me.
