Community Highlights: Meet Jackie Sierra of Canine Country Club Home of Pet Limo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jackie Sierra.

Hi Jackie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We’re excited about the opportunity to share our story.

Our journey with Pet Limo Animal Services and Canine Country Club truly began from a deep-rooted passion for animals and a commitment to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate care. As a family-owned business, what started as a small, hands-on operation quickly grew through dedication, trust, and word-of-mouth within the community.

We recognized early on that pet owners were looking for more than just transportation or boarding — they wanted peace of mind. That’s what inspired us to build Pet Limo into a trusted animal transportation and relocation service, eventually becoming Florida’s approved CDC quarantine facility. After some time, we developed Canine Country Club as a premier boarding destination where pets are treated like family, not just clients.

Every step of our growth has been guided by our core values: safety, transparency, and genuine care for every animal we serve. Being family-owned allows us to stay personally involved in every aspect of the business, ensuring that our standards remain high and our service remains personal.

Today, we’re proud to serve clients both locally and internationally, helping families relocate their pets safely and providing a home-away-from-home experience through our boarding facility. Our story is still evolving, and we’re incredibly grateful for the trust our clients place in us every day.

We’re looking forward to sharing more details during the interview and highlighting what makes our services unique.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like most meaningful journeys, it has not been a completely smooth road. Building Pet Limo Animal Services and Canine Country Club came with its share of challenges. In the early stages, we had to navigate the complexities of regulatory requirements, particularly in animal transportation and international pet relocation, where compliance, safety, and logistics must align perfectly.

There were also the everyday challenges that come with growing a family-owned business — balancing operations, building a reliable team, earning client trust, and maintaining consistent service standards while scaling. The responsibility is especially significant in our industry because we’re not just moving or boarding pets — we’re caring for beloved family members.

Additionally, adapting to unexpected circumstances, such as changes in travel regulations and industry demands, required resilience, flexibility, and constant learning.

That said, each challenge has played a critical role in shaping who we are today. They’ve strengthened our processes, deepened our expertise, and reinforced our commitment to excellence. Most importantly, they’ve made the journey incredibly rewarding. Seeing the trust our clients place in us, reuniting families with their pets, and providing a safe, loving environment for animals makes every obstacle worthwhile.

We truly believe that the challenges have been just as valuable as the successes, and they continue to drive us forward.

As you know, we’re big fans of Canine Country Club Home of Pet Limo. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Pet Limo Animal Services and Canine Country Club are built on a simple but powerful mission: to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care for pets at every stage of their journey. As a family-owned and operated business, we specialize in professional animal transportation and relocation services, as well as premium boarding in a secure, loving environment.

Pet Limo is widely recognized for handling complex domestic and international pet relocations. We manage every detail — from documentation and compliance to travel logistics — ensuring pets are transported safely and comfortably. We are also proud to be Florida’s approved CDC quarantine facility, which places us in a unique position to assist with specialized cases that require the highest level of care, oversight, and regulatory expertise.

Canine Country Club, the home of Pet Limo’s boarding facility, complements our transportation services by offering a trusted home-away-from-home experience. Here, pets receive individualized attention, structured care, and a safe, clean environment designed to reduce stress and promote comfort.

What truly sets us apart is our hands-on, personalized approach. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions — every pet and every family we work with has unique needs, and we tailor our services accordingly. Being family-owned allows us to stay closely involved in daily operations, ensuring consistency, accountability, and a genuine level of care that clients can feel.

We are especially proud of the trust we’ve built with our clients. Our brand has grown largely through referrals and long-standing relationships, which speaks to the level of service and peace of mind we provide. For us, success isn’t just measured in growth — it’s measured in the safe journeys we facilitate and the comfort we provide to both pets and their owners.

What we want readers to know most is that when they choose Pet Limo and Canine Country Club, they are choosing a team that treats their pets like family. Every decision we make is guided by safety, transparency, and a deep respect for the animals in our care.

We look forward to sharing more during the interview.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
That’s a great question — and one we really enjoy reflecting on.

One thing that often surprises people is just how hands-on and involved we remain in every aspect of the business, despite how much we’ve grown. As a family-owned company, we’re not operating from a distance — we’re actively involved in day-to-day operations, from coordinating complex international relocations to personally overseeing the care and comfort of pets in our facility.

Another aspect many don’t realize is the level of detail, precision, and behind-the-scenes coordination required in what we do. Pet transportation, especially internationally, involves a highly regulated process with extensive documentation, timing, and compliance requirements. What may seem like a simple service on the surface is actually a carefully managed operation where every step matters.

Lastly, while our work is very structured and logistics-driven, it’s also deeply emotional. We’re often part of major life transitions for families — relocations, reunions, and new beginnings — and we take that responsibility to heart. That human (and animal) connection is something that isn’t always visible from the outside, but it’s truly at the core of everything we do.
