Hi Elisa, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
One day my dermatologist suggested to use a silk pillowcase when sleeping, and she told me about all the benefits silk had for the skin and hair. I started thinking how it could be amazing to sleep completely in silk products. I decided to look for silk pajamas, and to my surprise, I couldn’t find anything that wasn’t bridal, too sexy or just very expensive. I decided to take matters into my own hands, buy some silk, and make some samples with a seamstress. When I received my samples and started wearing them all the time, I noticed that the effect these pajamas were having on me went deeper than my skin (although my skin was looking luminous and plumped); they were shifting my attitude and my self-perception, when I was about to go to bed and I looked at my self in the mirror wearing something nice that made me feel good, I went to bed with a self-satisfaction feeling, and the same would happen when waking up and looking in the mirror. Something as simple as what I was wearing to bed was shifting my attitude and my self-perception, this is something I wanted to share with other women.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has been the craziest rollercoaster I have ever been on. You want to do something, and you dream of making it big, but at first, you don’t even know the journey you’re about to embark on. Being a business owner, you have to have the capacity to pivot because most likely, things won’t go as you expect them to, for better or for worse, but you will learn one of the best skills you will ever possess, and that is becoming resilient. Sometimes you don’t even know what you need to do next or even how to fix things that aren’t working well, but a little creativity and being recursive can take you a long way, never doubt that.
We’ve been impressed with Amaranta Nightwear, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I think brands need to be thinking outside the box, and the ones who understand how to immerse their customers into their brand’s experience will be the winner in the long run. It isn’t just about the products anymore, it has to do about all you have to offer for your clients. Companies need to evolve, they need to become a 360 brand, and I think this has a different meaning for each brand. Customers are more savvy than ever, so you need to do your research to fully understand how to satisfy them completely and how to connect with them in different ways.
