Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Hospitality and Business. I have always had a passion for working with people. I worked in the luxury hotels industry for 10 years in the Food & Beverage department and then transitioned into Executive Administration. That leads me into the high-end interior design world.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Oils for your Coils?
Oils for your Coils started in 2016. I was not finding any product that helped maintain my hair’s moisture. After doing research, I created our first product, the Hair & Body oil that helped keep my hair hydrated, soothes itchy scalp and skin, has antibacterial agents, and promotes hair growth.
I then launched Oils for your Coils to the public in June 2019. Since then, we now have 5 other products. Growth Oil, hair moisturizer, herbal hair tea, and mango & oatmeal leave in conditioner. We have gone to countless pop-up shops and expos nationwide and are in stores around the South Florida area.

It has not by any means been a smooth road. When I first started creating this product, I had no intentions on creating a brand, it was just a product I was making for my family. With success in everything, you have to be consistent and understand that it will not be an overnight hit in most cases. I started this business by myself so I do everything from making the product, advertising, sales, financials which can get overwhelming at times. I found that encouraging myself to keep going and constantly analyzing where I started makes it all worth it.
Any big plans?
My plans for the future is to get in stores nationwide and continue working on new products for Oils for your Coils. Also, being a Realtor at Grant & Associates, I strive to continue to provide exceptional service to my clients, whether it’s finding their dream home, rental property, or an investment. I will leave a legacy for my family and continue to be the best me.
Ultimately, I believe my purpose is to pursue my passion in giving back to others. The more you give, the more you receive.
