Hi David, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My wife and I were clients of The Joint Chiropractic in Utah. My wife was experiencing hip pain from giving birth to one of our children and I was suffering from chronic migraines. We notice that the frequent weekly visits to The Joint Chiropractic were alleviating our pain. We contacted corporate to see what licenses were available to purchase and we ended up purchasing three license to franchise The Joint Chiropractic in Idaho Falls, Twin Falls, and Pocatello Idaho. We were on vacation in Miami and we found a second home and after a couple of years we moved into it and made the permanent move from Utah to Miami, Florida. Luckily, the move was easy because we were already in talks to purchase additional licenses in southern Florida. We now have one location open in Midtown with plans to expand in surrounding cites.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road. Nothing worth having or doing is easy in life. We ran into permit issues that took longer than we anticipated, dealt with changes in Landlords and copious amounts of paperwork to get our Certificate of Use and Business Sales Tax Receipt. We also dealt with constant water leaks in our location which cause the ceiling to cave in more than once. We had to go through many employees until we found the right fit.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
The U.S. chiropractic market is projected to grow significantly: one report puts a U.S. market CAGR at ~26 % from 2023–2030. Globally, growth is more moderate—around ~7.8 % CAGR from 2025–2034. Key drivers: increasing musculoskeletal issues (back/neck pain, poor posture), the demand for non‐drug, noninvasive solutions, aging populations, and wellness-oriented consumers. The industry is moving beyond “pain relief when you’re hurting” to “routine maintenance for health, mobility and quality of life. With awareness rising around posture, ergonomics (especially remote work), and preventive wellness, chiropractic can become a more mainstream option even for people without acute pain.
