Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlie Sacco.
Hi Charlie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In April of 1979 (I was 10 years old). I was playing with some friends, I was riding my friends 10 speed bicycle, which as too big for me. I lost control and went down this steep hill on Miller Ave in Brooklyn. My mom rushed me to St. Mary’s Hospital. My mom was literally holding my brain in my skull with her hands. When we got to the hospital, my mom was told I had a 10% chance of living. A brain surgeon (Dr. Camens) from Lenox Hill Hospital did emergency brain surgery on me and saved my life. I was raised by a single mom, she pursued a lawsuit against the City for one million dollars for the tree stump that was there for a long time on the sidewalk that I hit and we settled out of court for $150,000. I received the settlement funds when I turned 18 years old.
I went crazy with the money and within 5 years I blew it all and did not have a dollar to my name.
In 1988 I was hired by Arthur Rothman, owner of NY Tax Service, to start transfering clients to the computer system as at that time all tax return they procecces were done manually and I had a I.T. back ground. Arthur liked me so much he hired me as a full time employee during tax season and over the next 5 years he trained me on income tax preparation. I never in my life thought that would be my main profession. I was always into computers and technology and thats what I eventually got my degree in (Computers Systems Information). When I say eventually is because the first time I went to college right after highschool I did terrible, I think because I had all that money and didnt care about school and after 4 semesters I dropped out with a 1.4 GPA. I went back to college at part-time at age 30 and graduated from farmindale Univ. with a 4.0 GPA. In 1993 Arthur retired and at the same time I had nothing left from my lawsuit money. Arthur gave me his client list and I sent out letters to 700 of his clients saying that I can continue preparing there taxes. I got about 20 clients. Also at the same time I was hired by DHL as a part-time warehouse employee at JFK airport
Over the years I advanced my career at DHL from part-time warehouse worker, to administrative assistant, to Intl Service Agent. In 1998 I applied an IT Desktop Support Field engineer with DHL and did not get it because I did not have a college degree. Thats when I decided to go back to college and get my degree and in 2006 the same IT position opened up with DHL and this time I got the position. My tax business was still just my little part time thing for extra money to go out.
I have always had a passion for music and really found my passion for House Music in my early 30’s. In 2010 I started to explore being a DJ for fun. In 2011 I DJ’d at club District which was one of the hottest nightclubs in NYC
My life really changed in 2015 when I had an experience with a good friend of mine. This was the moment I realized there is more to this world than 3 dimensional reality people perceive to be.
I started deep diving into the paranormal, spiritual, meditation, laws of attraction, and manifestation.
In 2017 I went to Burning Man for the first time and those 9 days in the Nevada Desert really changed my life and where I started my spiritual journey, which I beleive led me to were I am today.
In 2018 I started to follow Master Sri Akarshana and Dr. Joe Dispenza who would become my mentors till this day, this is when I really was meditating and practicing the laws of attraction every day, I started manifesting in the 2019 tax season my tax business would overtake my salary at DHL and become my main source of income and it did.
In 2019, I began manifesting I would make $100k in the 2020 tax season and I reached $97k. Also, by this time I DJ’d in some of the biggest nightclubs in NYC with some of the biggest DJs but this was still my side fun thing to do.
In 2020, during Covid-19, I hit over $100k doing taxes and the tax business became my main source of income over my job at DHL and had over $100k in the bank for the first time since I received my settlement at 18 years old. The difference was, I earned the money by using meditation in conjunction with the law of attraction techniques, combined with determination, motivation, mindset, and taking action.
For many people, Covid-19 was the worst time of their life, as for me the summer of Covid-19 was the best summer of my life because I was so grateful that opened my house to all my friends that summer and threw parties every weekend, I turned my house into a haven for my friends to come together and find the light in those dark times. I still have friends to do this day thanking me so much for that summer saying I saved thier life and they could not imagine going threw those dark times of covid without my house where all of us came together and became one big family, we all saved each other. Everybody coming to my home also saved my life. That is a whole different story I can tell you if you would like to know.
The moment that really changed everything for me was in November of 2023 when I went to Dubai for the second time for this 30 day training program called Light Warriors held by Master Sri.
This program was designed to push physical, mental, and financial limits. The curriculum promised advanced training in yoga, meditation, manifestation, breathwork, and financial strategies—including earning six- and seven-figure incomes, marketing, social media influence, and public speaking. There would also be mind-over-matter challenges designed to prove the impossible is possible.
From the moment I arrived in Dubai, I was tested beyond my limits.
We trained 16 hours a day, every single day, for 30 days straight. Master Sri called it “Advanced Yoga for Beginners,” but it felt impossible at first. Within two weeks, I was holding a headstand for over a minute and bending into poses I never imagined my body could achieve.
Then came the mind-over-matter challenges.
The first was breaking a one-inch thick wooden board with my bare hand. Thanks to my martial arts background, I broke through with ease. But something unexpected happened—I found myself helping others, guiding them through the technique, showing them they could break through their own mental and physical barriers.
The second was fire walking, we walked across 1,400-degree hot coals, And not just once.
Five massive fire pits, each 12 feet in diameter, with fresh, glowing coals being continuously added. We would walk through them three separate times, for 20 minutes each. After we were done there was one tiny blister on my right foot and I remember the moment it happened because I let my Ego kick in. Other then that not a burn on my feet and felt nothing walking threw those hot coals.
The third challenge I feared the most, walking on shattered broken wine bottles.
If fire-walking was a test of mental strength, then walking on shattered glass was a test of trust. I watched as my fellow trainees stepped barefoot onto jagged shards of broken wine bottles, the crunch beneath their feet sent chills down my spine. I had a deep fear of glass, I had been cut badly in the past and needed stitches. But Master Sri reminded us In life, we think we are choosing the right path, but sometimes the universe has another plan.
If a step doesn’t feel right, move your foot. Choose another way.
With my heart pounding, I took my first step. The glass crunched beneath me. I kept moving slow, intentional, controlled. After 4 or 5 steps I made it threw without a scratch on my feet.
Out of 150 people, only two got cut, because they didn’t follow instructions. This moment changed my perspective on fear, control, and trust in the universe.
When I returned from Dubai, I was not the same person.
I had lived the Law of Attraction in ways I never imagined. I saw firsthand that your thoughts create your reality. When opportunities show up, do not hesitate, say yes and figure it out later because what shows up for you is for you.
Opportunities don’t wait—when they show up, SAY YES.
The lower the lows, the higher the highs.
I used to think some things in life were impossible. Now I know, impossible is just an illusion.
I always wanted to move to south Florida and when I got back from Dubai an opportunity was presented to my by DHL to transfer to plantation Florida but the move needed to happen quickly as I would be replacing someone in the corporate office that left the company. I said yes and would figure it out later. It was scary and uncomfortable as I would be moving my whole live 1300 miles away, still owning my house in long island and 90% of my tax clients based in NY, but I did it any way. I started to manifest everyday what within one year, I would sell my house In NY (for a large amount that everyone said was crazy and will not sell for that much), I would buy my dream home in Florida and pay cash for it, I would quit my job of 31 years at DHL and just do taxes, DJ and then have the time to start my own wellness, coaching mediation center. Well within 10 months I sold my house in ny for the amount that everyone said could not be done, I bought a penthouse condo in Hollywood, FL and paid cash for it and in dec of 2024 I quit my job at DHL. In 2026 I will be manifesting the wellness, coaching mediation center.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Looking back on my journey, I see a life shaped by pain, resilience, and transformation. From a shy, insecure boy in Ozone Park, Queens—scarred by a childhood accident that left me questioning my self-worth—to a man who has built multiple businesses, mastered the power of mindset, and now stands on the brink of inspiring thousands, I have learned that the greatest transformations come from our deepest struggles.
My mom and dad split up when I was 7 years old, my dad was not around much while I was growing up. It wasn’t until I was around 19 or 20 that we started to get close and then he passed away in 1993 from a stroke.
My mom passed away in 2021 at age 76 from dementia.
For years, I let my scars define me—not just the physical ones, but the emotional wounds of betrayal, self-doubt, and heartbreak. I chased validation through material success, trying to outrun the belief that I wasn’t enough. When my world came crashing down—losing money, friendships, love, and nearly myself—I hit rock bottom. I believed I was cursed, unaware that it was my own thoughts, my own energy, creating the reality I was living.
But the moment I surrendered, the moment I had nothing left but faith, something shifted. I unknowingly began raising my vibration. Slowly, life started to reflect the energy I put out. I rebuilt myself from the ground up—not just financially, but mentally and spiritually. I discovered the power of meditation, manifestation, and the Law of Attraction, and I realized that success isn’t about wealth or status. True success is alignment—finding peace within, serving others, and knowing that you are enough just as you are.
Every challenge I faced was a lesson in disguise. I learned that pain is temporary, but growth is permanent. That mindset is everything. That the energy you put into the world is the energy you receive. And most importantly, that we are never truly broken—only in the process of becoming something greater.
Now, my purpose is clear: to share these lessons, to help others break free from their own limiting beliefs, and to show that no matter how dark life gets, there is always a way to rise. My journey isn’t just my own—it’s a roadmap for anyone searching for their own breakthrough. And if I can turn my pain into power, so can they!

Truthfully I beleive mindset and mediation has alot to do with it. When you think possitive, have a clear mind, keep away from negativity and stress. you will see opportunities that may have been right in front of your face but your monkey brain got in the way of seeing them. Also when you stay in those high vibrational frequencies of love, peace, joy, gratitude, that is what you will attract in your life. I did not find my mentors, they just popped up in my life and I was in a high state of conciousness to be aware and notice them. The way the law of attraction works is, you do not attract what you want, you attract what you are and when the universe drops those opportunities in front of you they are not yours yet. you must take the action and be prepared to take the action to claim it.
Now on a more logical side, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram & linkedin are great ways to find mentors and network, but also I goto alot of events and do alot of travelleing which helps. I also learned its very important to learn how to become a good speaker to get your story and message out. I beleive and learned that is very important part of networking.
