Hi Blessing, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born in Holguin, Cuba and moved to Miami at the age of seven. That first flight that I stepped in, is where my love for aviation began! As I grew up my passion for it grew and I decided to pursue a career as Flight Attendant. Which quickly became my dream job! I spent six amazing years flying all around the world. When the pandemic hit last year, I was furloughed from my job and unsure of what was going to happen next. I spent some time reflecting, and that is where the idea for Beyond Plane’s Airplane Seat Covers was born. I wanted to bring my aviation knowledge and passion together to create a product that can help others in times like today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like most things in life, starting a business takes a lot of work and perseverance. It has not been a smooth road, But I am embracing every moment and loving the entire process. As of right now, I am my own Marketer, Social Media Team, Customer Service Rep, and Shipping Clerk. At first it was a little overwhelming just learning how to balance it all, but now I got the hang of it! As I grow, my goal is to have a team and create more opportunities for others!

Beyond Plane Is an E-commerce Travel Brand. Our first product is the innovative Airplane Seat Cover. Our seat cover is universal, which fits Airplane seats, Movie Theaters Seats, Train Seats, And Bus Seats. The purpose of our seat cover is to provide a barrier between you and public seats. We want to help you stay more clean, fresh and healthy while on the go! Beyond Plane is owned by a Flight Attendant with years of aviation experience. Our seat covers where created to be a perfect fit on most aircraft seats. They take less than 30 seconds to put on, and do not interfere with the monitor behind your seat. What I am most proud of brand wise, is that our products helps our customers have more peace of mind! With our seat cover, you can make a public seat feel like your own. This way you know for sure that you are sitting on a clean surface. All of our packages come with cleaning wipes as well, to wipe the other areas around you.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
If you believe in your vision or dream, keep going, don’t quit! It will not always be easy or fun. But you will learn so much along the way. You will develop new skills, and talents you didn’t even know you had. Entrepreneurship is a journey of self-discovery and growth and it is a beautiful thing!
