Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana Rivas.
Adriana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Biwitech was created in response to a fundamental shift in retail behavior. What began as a research-driven exploration of self-service quickly became a clear operational necessity as retailers sought speed, independence, and efficiency without losing control of their environments.
From the beginning, my focus was not on building individual devices, but on creating an end-to-end retail infrastructure. Biwitech was designed to integrate self-service kiosks, point-of-sale systems, digital signage, and intelligent labeling into a unified ecosystem that seamlessly connects with enterprise management software.
What differentiates Biwitech is its infrastructure-first approach. While many solutions in the market remain fragmented, our platform combines certified hardware with a robust software layer, allowing retailers to operate efficiently while maintaining full control of the customer journey.
Today, Biwitech supports retail operations across the United States and Latin America, helping enterprise retailers adapt to evolving consumer behavior through practical, execution-driven technology.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Building Biwitech required making deliberate decisions that were not always easy, but necessary to build something durable and meaningful.
Early on, we chose to design and certify our own hardware rather than rely on off-the-shelf components. This meant longer development cycles and tighter coordination across product, software, and manufacturing teams, but it enabled a level of integration and reliability that fragmented solutions could not achieve.
Timing was another challenge. Consumer behavior was shifting rapidly toward self-service, and waiting for perfect conditions was not an option. We launched in live retail environments, refining products through real-world deployments rather than theoretical models.
Operating across the U.S. and Latin America also required building systems that perform consistently across very different retail realities. These constraints shaped Biwitech into a company defined by disciplined execution, adaptability, and technology that works where it matters most: on the store floor
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
What sets Biwitech apart is its infrastructure-first approach. Rather than offering isolated devices, the company develops certified hardware that integrates seamlessly with existing retail systems.
Biwitech was created in response to a fundamental shift in retail: self-service and automation are no longer experimental, but operational necessities. Its product portfolio is designed to reduce checkout friction, improve operational efficiency, and preserve the human element of retail while maintaining full control over the in-store experience.
With active deployments across the United States and Latin America, Biwitech supports enterprise retailers navigating digital transformation through practical, execution-driven technology.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something that may surprise people is that Biwitech was never built around chasing trends. From the start, we deliberately avoided designing products based on what sounded impressive and instead focused on what would survive real-world retail conditions.
That discipline prioritizing execution over hype has defined the brand more than any single feature
