Today we’d like to introduce you to Freddy Espin.
Freddy, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
Venezuelan guy moved to Miami 2014 to start a a new life, artist by nature, nothing planned, just blowing with the win to put feeling on paper, drawing was my hobby, today it’s my passion.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
My art comes from my heart about feelings experiences even the bad ones gave me the best inspiration, I drawing on paper exploring between pencils watercolor pens. I like to show in my art the duality of live, science-art, Spanish-English, love-hate, inside-outside. The carácter in my draws always has 2 faces. I do draws, on paper, hope people realize everything has inside something that we don’t see.
Artists face many challenges, but what do you feel is the most pressing among them?
Wow! Very good question. The biggest challenge for me, is to compete with digital 2.0 art. I’m old school, love use my hands to create make mistakes, then use my pencil and my eraser simple.
Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
