Check Out Tyler Hall’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Hall.

Hi Tyler, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
First of all, I want to thank Sarah and Mike with VoyageMIA for reaching out and giving me a chance to share my story. My name is Tyler C Hall, T Hall for short. I was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1998. I lived in Jamaica, Queens, New York, which is a very famous city where stars like 50 cent and Nicki Minaj are from. My mother is Dominican and my father is Black and Panamanian. My family relocated to Florida at the age of 9 and I tried to pursue my baseball career, which ended up becoming successful, playing JUCO baseball in college. I played minor league baseball in Puerto Rico after COVID in 2021, after a private workout with the Atlanta Braves. I’m currently a baseball instructor and a hip hop music artist with about 50 songs public and almost 10 music videos on YouTube. I go by the name T Hall Music on Instagram and YouTube. I’m based out of Boca Raton, Florida.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life has its ups and downs. A lot of trials and tribulations. I went to 4 high schools, 4 colleges, kicked out of my parents house at 21 because things weren’t “working out” and still I had to pick myself up and put one foot in front of the next. My MLB baseball dreams slowly slipped away as I got older but I still found a way to show my love for the game through coaching. I had to have faith in God to get through it all. I’m glad I’m at the point I am today but I wouldn’t be without him.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Being the difference you want to see in the community and the world. Life is short and we get one go at this, so in my opinion you might as well do what you love and makes you happy. Find a way to turn your love or passion into a business or service. Baseball did that for me. That was my first love and will forever be. I played all the travel ball growing up, high school varsity for 3 years, college baseball at JUCO and d2 universities, then professionally in Aguada, Puerto Rico. I then started to share my love of or the game with the local community in north Broward county. Thus, T Hall Training Facility was born! Since 2022 I’ve been a local baseball coach/trainer in the south Florida area. Along with my passion for baseball, I had a passion for good music as well. December 2022 I put together 10 songs for my first album release, “Off Da Field”. Now it’s 2025, I have about 10 music videos on T Hall YouTube channel, I have 4 mixtapes out with some single releases. Multiple local live performances, growing my online presence and gaining organic followers every month.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Honestly, YouTube has been huge for me whenever I need to learn something new. I’ve really found that videos are great teachers, which influenced me to incorporate a lot of visuals on my music and baseball coaching page. I think once you learn yourself and what gets you motivated, you’ll thrive in whatever you put your mind to.
