Check Out Stephanie Zenon’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Zenon.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Picture Me Cookie started from a place of passion and creativity, but it quickly evolved into something much more unique. I’ve always loved baking and design, and I began by creating custom cookies for friends and family, experimenting with different styles and flavors. As I shared my work, I saw how excited people were, especially when I introduced the concept of printing actual photos directly onto cookies. That moment really set the foundation for what Picture Me Cookie would become.

What makes Picture Me Cookie stand out is the interactive experience. It’s not just about ordering custom treats, it’s a live, photo booth-style activation where guests can take a picture and watch it be printed onto a delicious cookie in under 10 seconds. It brings a whole new level of excitement to events because people aren’t just receiving a dessert, they’re part of the process. Seeing their own photo come to life on a cookie right in front of them creates a moment that’s fun, memorable, and shareable.

Today, Picture Me Cookie is proud to offer something that’s truly one of a kind in the South Florida area. Being the first to introduce this concept locally has allowed me to carve out a unique space in the events industry. From private celebrations to corporate activations, the brand continues to grow by blending creativity, technology, and experience into every event we’re part of.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like most businesses, there were a lot of learning curves in the beginning. Figuring out the technical side of printing photos onto cookies took time, from getting the right equipment to making sure the print quality was consistent and the cookies still tasted great. There were also moments of trial and error when it came to timing, especially delivering that “under 10 seconds” experience in a live event setting.

Building awareness was another challenge. Because this is such a unique, first-of-its-kind concept in South Florida, people didn’t always understand it right away. I had to be very intentional about how I presented the brand, using social media, live demos, and word of mouth to help people see the value and the experience. Balancing that while managing orders, events, and the day-to-day responsibilities of running a business wasn’t always easy.

There were also the normal growing pains that come with scaling, investing in equipment, managing bookings, and making sure every event met a high standard. But each challenge helped me refine the process and strengthen the business. It pushed me to be more creative, more organized, and more confident in what I offer.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At Picture Me Cookie, I create custom edible experiences that blend dessert with entertainment. I specialize in printing high-quality photos directly onto cookies in real time, turning a simple treat into something personal and interactive. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, corporate event, or brand activation, I bring a full photo booth-style setup where guests can take a picture and watch it be printed onto a fresh, delicious cookie in under 10 seconds. It’s a mix of creativity, technology, and hospitality, all in one experience.

What I’m most known for is that live, interactive element. Guests aren’t just picking up a dessert, they’re part of the moment. They get to see their photo come to life right in front of them, which naturally creates excitement, engagement, and a lot of shareable content. Being the first to introduce this concept in the South Florida area has allowed me to stand out, and I’ve built a reputation for delivering something that feels new, fun, and memorable every time.

What I’m most proud of is turning an idea into a brand that people genuinely connect with. I’ve been able to create something that brings people joy while also building a business that continues to grow. What sets Picture Me Cookie apart is the combination of quality and experience. The cookies taste just as good as they look, and the service goes beyond just a product, it’s about creating a moment that guests will remember long after the event is over.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
One thing I’ve learned is that mentorship and networking don’t always happen in a formal way. Some of the most valuable connections I’ve made came from simply showing up, being consistent, and building genuine relationships. I’ve found that social media has been a powerful tool, not just for marketing, but for connecting with other business owners, event planners, and creatives. Engaging with their content, supporting their work, and reaching out with intention has opened a lot of doors for me.

What’s worked best for me is staying authentic and putting myself in rooms where opportunities can happen, events, pop-ups, collaborations, and community spaces. Every interaction matters. You never know who’s watching your work or who might connect you to your next opportunity. Focus on building real relationships, not just transactions, and the network will grow naturally from there.
