Hi sheryll, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started Blush over a decade ago as a small handmade shop on Etsy, creating dresses for proms and bridesmaids. At the time, I loved the process of designing pieces that made women feel confident, free, and beautiful -but something unexpected happened.
Soon, I began receiving messages from brides asking if I could make a wedding version of their favorite dress -something elegant yet comfortable, simple yet unique. That’s how Blush’s boho-inspired bridal collection was born.
From there, everything grew organically. Brides from around the world connected with the idea of effortless elegance -soft, stretchy fabrics, romantic lace, and designs that celebrate real women’s bodies and movement.
Today, Blush Fashion continues to evolve, staying true to the same vision that started it all: creating beautiful, comfortable dresses that reflect every bride’s individuality.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road. Building a brand from scratch -especially an online bridal brand -came with many challenges.
In the beginning, I did everything myself: designing, sewing, photographing, and communicating with customers from all over the world. There were moments of doubt, endless nights, and the constant challenge of balancing creativity with the realities of running a business.
But every message from a happy bride kept me going. Over time, I learned how to grow step by step -to trust my vision, to adapt, and to use challenges as opportunities to evolve.
Looking back, those struggles were the foundation of Blush’s success. They shaped the brand into what it is today -authentic, heartfelt, and built with love.

I design boho-romantic wedding dresses crafted from soft, stretchy fabrics that move with the body and flatter every shape. Each gown is made to order and can be fully customized -from the neckline and sleeves to the color and length -all through an easy online process that feels personal and stress-free.
What truly sets Blush apart is the blend of craftsmanship, comfort, and accessibility. Our brides don’t need to visit a salon or spend thousands to have a custom-made gown -they can design it from home and receive a handmade dress that fits perfectly and feels amazing to wear.
I’m proud to have built a brand that celebrates real women and makes the dream of a custom wedding dress simple, joyful, and within reach for everyone.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I’ve always believed that taking risks is part of creating something meaningful. For me, every important step in Blush started with a leap of faith.
Launching an online bridal brand was a big risk at the time -most brides still wanted to try on dresses in person, and convincing them to order a wedding gown online felt almost impossible. But I trusted that women were ready for a new kind of experience -one that was personal, comfortable, and modern.
There were moments of uncertainty, but I’ve learned that every risk brings growth. You can’t innovate without stepping into the unknown. I don’t see risk as something to fear -it’s an opportunity to evolve, to listen, and to build something authentic.
Looking back, those bold decisions -from going fully online to developing a digital customization system -are what shaped Blush into what it is today.
