Check Out Saúl Mauricio Mendoza’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Saúl Mauricio Mendoza

Hi Saúl Mauricio , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
When I arrived in Miami in 2017 for a vacation, I had no idea what was coming next. I’m a big believer in the power of the mind and living proof that when you treat your goals as a done deal and truly want them from the heart, they become reality.

In 2018, I was chosen for a project with NBC TELEMUNDO, which opened up so many doors for me. From there, I dove headfirst into the city’s theater scene and fully immersed myself in its cultural life.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Choosing a career in the arts comes with a lot of sacrifices—mainly time and money. If you’re forging your own path without backing from big agencies, you have to invest in promotion, branding, training, and everything else that helps an artist stay visible. It also takes serious organization and planning because, let’s be real, those first few years can be financially unstable. Still, I believe that by picking the right projects and staying involved in other cultural activities, this path can definitely be sustainable.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an actor and performer, deeply involved in theater and cultural projects. My work focuses on storytelling that connects with audiences on a personal and emotional level. I specialize in stage performances but also have experience in television, which gave me great visibility when I was selected for a project with NBC TELEMUNDO.

What I’m most proud of is the range of roles I’ve been able to portray and the impact my performances have had on the audience. It’s incredibly rewarding when people tell me they’ve been moved or inspired by something I was part of.

What sets me apart from others is my versatility and commitment to constantly growing as an artist. I’ve created my own path, investing in my development and being fully immersed in the cultural life of my city. I also bring a unique perspective, blending my background and experiences into everything I do, which allows me to connect with diverse audiences.

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is being able to express myself through art, whether it’s acting, storytelling, or being involved in cultural projects. There’s a deep satisfaction in knowing that my work can touch people, make them reflect, or even inspire them. Creating meaningful connections through my performances is incredibly fulfilling.

Also, the process of growth and learning makes me happy—whether it’s mastering a new role, collaborating with other artists, or discovering new ways to challenge myself. It’s the constant evolution and creative expression that bring me the most joy.
