Today we’d like to introduce you to Poodah Luv.
Hi Poodah , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started making music in the first grade at my elementary school William H. Holmes School in Mount Vernon NY. I Got to where I’m at today by staying consistently creative and motivated to go against the odds and create a lane for myself doing something I loved.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It was never a smooth road but my struggle and upbringing made me stronger mentally and physically to continue to progress in what I’ve always wanted to do in this Music Industry. Some of those struggles were being taken away from my Mother at 5 years old and growing up in the foster care system, I grew up in the foster system, group homes, juvenile/NSD (Non Secure Detention) centers most of my childhood and life since 5 years old, got adopted twice, Lived on the streets, slept in Project building staircases, Car Wash Bay’s, Parking lot spots, alley ways on wooden pallets, Subway trains in all weathers etc. Never once met my biological father and my Mother was mentally unstable and a career crack addict. I’ve never did drugs just smoked weed and drank liquor in which I don’t anymore …
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Recording Artist, Singer/rapper and songwriter of Raw and Natural Talent. That is what I specialize in and what I am mainly known for and I am most proud of my accomplishments through all the pain I’ve been through and put in from a young kid until now. What separates me from others is my Authentic energy and optimism.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I feel like everyone I’ve crossed paths with in my life deserves credit for where I’m at now, whether it was good or bad interactions. I say that because I feed off of everything I’ve encountered in general and use it to fuel my purpose.

- For appearances my pricing varies and depends on what I’m doing exactly at the spots I’m booked for. Could be anywhere from $1500 – $2900
