Today we’d like to introduce you to Ninaa Londyn.
Hi Ninaa, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Hiii, thank you for having me. I am so happy to be here today and to share my story. How I started? Honestly, I feel like every decision I have made has led me to where I am at. And the best thing I did was take risks, even when I was scared too. I first had to leave this city that I love. I moved to New York at the young age of 17. I made that choice because I realized at an early age that you have to make yourself uncomfortable in order to grow. Once I got to New York while finishing school, I started doing more research on the fashion industry. I went to my first casting in 2017 and I have never looked back. I fell even more in love with my passion, and I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do. It took time, sacrifice, tears, motivation, dedication, and support. Over the years, I built my portfolio. Getting the opportunities to work with brands like Macy’s, Fashion to figures, SKIMS, etc. Also having the chance to work with so many amazing designers at New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, and so many more. One of the many highlights of my career was my first billboard in Time square, something that was once a vision in my mind becoming a reality. Then Everything came to a stop in 2020. A time that was hard on all of us. I am so grateful for my family’s and friends’ health. During the time, I missed working and started thinking of New Year’s to continue to create. And that’s when I entered the world of Content Creation. It took some time, but I found my niche which helped me focused in more on what type of content I wanted to create. I become a full-time Self-care / Mental Health Content creator in 2022. Now I am able to travel back and forth between both my homes, which are South Florida and New York, Working, Creating Content, and building a platform where people can come and feel comfortable on this journey of self-growth.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nowhere near lol, but that’s what makes it worth it. Because every time I feel like giving up, I think about all the hard work my pass self put in for me for our goals, and I realize I’m so many steps closer. I had many struggles to overcome. From having to work on my mental health to be strong enough to support me through everything to some family members bringing me down and telling me I couldn’t do it. There were days the vision got blurry, but I never lost sight.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Model and Self-care / Mental Health Content Creator. I want to build a platform where people come and we grow together. I am on my journey of self-growth, and I am sharing what helps me and tips that others can benefit from.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
My passion. I am so passionate about what I love that every day I fall more in love with it. Which pushes me to work more on my passion.
