Hi Monique, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a content creator, blogger, and vlogger! I specialize in crafting captivating written content and videos with a strong storyline that leaves a lasting impact. With years of experience and a creative flair, I bring stories to life through words. I continuously develop and grow by identifying my passion and interests.
To stay up to date with fresh and new content. I then researched different platforms and niches that align with my content ideas. After that, I start creating and publishing content regularly, focusing on high-quality and engaging material. I also actively engaged with my audience by responding to comments and feedback.
Over time, I refine my skills, learn from others in the industry, and adapt my content strategy based on audience preferences. It’s been an exciting and rewarding experience so far!
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
While being a content creator, blogger, and vlogger can be rewarding, it is not obstacle-free. I have encountered a few obstacles, such as consistently creating high-quality content. This can be demanding and time-consuming. Creating fresh ideas, conducting research, writing blog posts, or filming and editing videos requires dedication and effort. It is common to experience creative blocks where I feel uninspired or overwhelmed. Finding balance and taking breaks to recharge is essential for me in the process.
Managing the demands of creating content, engaging with the audience, and handling administrative tasks can be challenging. Balancing blogging or vlogging activities with other commitments requires effective time management skills. I set realistic goals, create a content calendar, and prioritize tasks that help me stay organized and focused.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am most proud of my journey and the accomplishments and failures along the way. They have both shaped me into the artist that I am today. What sets me apart is that this has become an avenue for me to share my experiences. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer three years ago. Unfortunately, this took a different route, and my voice has not regained mobility. I am nonverbal and have been diagnosed with a voice disorder, Bilateral Vocal Cord Paralysis.
As a content creator, I can express my creativity, share my ideas, and connect with a wider audience. I can choose the topics I am passionate about and create content that resonates with others. It allows me to have a platform to showcase my skills, knowledge, and unique perspective. It provides a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment to see my work being appreciated and making a positive impact on others.
Being a blogger and vlogger sets me apart because I have the freedom to choose my topics in a storytelling style, which allows me to showcase my unique voice and perspective. I can connect with like-minded individuals who share similar interests and experiences. I can share my knowledge, skills, and expertise on a subject matter that I am passionate about; whether it’s through informative blog posts, tutorials, or engaging videos, I can educate and inspire others while establishing myself as a trusted source of information.
It gives me the freedom to experiment with different content formats, styles, and mediums. I can explore various storytelling techniques, incorporate visuals, and experiment with my writing or video editing skills. This allows me to evolve and grow constantly.
