I am Mina Taskiran, a seasoned residential and commercial real estate specialist with 12 years of experience. Currently licensed with One Sotheby’s International Realty in Miami Beach, I have a diverse background in the industry. After graduating from Barry University with a BA in Public Relations, I began my career as a Public Relations Manager at prestigious hotels along Miami’s renowned Collins Avenue, where my passion for Art Deco and Architecture flourished. Recognizing the exciting opportunities in the booming Miami market, I obtained my real estate license in 2011 and focused on luxury residential properties. I have consistently been recognized as a Top Producer, demonstrating my commitment to excellence in the industry.

Throughout my career, I have not only assisted residential clients but also worked extensively with builders and developers in selling land for commercial, retail, and land development projects. I have a wealth of experience in navigating the intricacies of these transactions and have built strong relationships with builders, architects, contractors, and city officials. Collaborating closely with these stakeholders, I ensure a seamless process from conceptualization to completion, maximizing the potential of each project. My understanding of zoning regulations, city requirements, and architectural considerations allows me to provide valuable guidance to clients, resulting in successful and profitable developments.

One of the biggest impacts on my career is having to have worked with Todd Michael Glaser, a renowned star developer in Miami Beach and Palm Beach. Through our close collaboration, I gained invaluable expertise by successfully selling four of his extraordinary development lots in Miami Beach. Currently, I have the privilege of representing 241 28th Street in Miami Beach’s Faena District, the closest house to the beach with plans for a remarkable redesign. I owe Todd a tremendous debt of gratitude for his invaluable mentorship and unwavering support.
I also encourage you to explore Todd’s latest groundbreaking project, Tarpon Island in Palm Beach. With a price tag of $187,500,000, this development exemplifies his exceptional work and visionary approach

In addition to my expertise in commercial and land development, I continue to serve clients in the residential real estate market. I specialize in luxury properties, investment opportunities, pre-construction developments, vacation homes, and property management. With a profound understanding of the local market and global economy, I develop tailored strategies that maximize exposure and ensure the best returns for my clients.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Miami, I spent my summers in Istanbul, Turkey, immersing myself in the rich culture of my expat family. My Turkish heritage has greatly influenced my perspective and approach to real estate, and I actively participate in the Turkish-American Association and the Miami Association of Realtors. By engaging with both my heritage and professional community, I stay connected and continuously expand my knowledge and network to better serve my clients.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a realtor, my journey has had its share of challenges along the way. While there have been many rewarding and successful moments, there have also been obstacles to overcome.

One of the main struggles in the real estate industry is the constant fluctuations in the market. Economic conditions, interest rates, and buyer preferences can all impact the demand and pricing of properties. As a realtor, it is crucial to stay informed and adaptable to these changes to best serve clients and navigate the market effectively.

Another challenge is the competitive nature of the industry. Real estate is a highly saturated market, with numerous agents vying for clients and listings. Standing out and building a strong reputation requires perseverance, excellent service, and consistent effort to provide value to clients.

Additionally, the process of buying or selling real estate can be complex and involve various legal and logistical considerations.

In addition to the challenges mentioned earlier, working with overseas clients often involves navigating language barriers and familiarizing them with the laws and regulations in the United States. This aspect of my real estate career has presented unique hurdles and opportunities for growth.

When assisting overseas clients, effective communication is paramount. Language barriers can sometimes create difficulties in understanding and conveying important information. However, my experience working with international clients has allowed me to develop effective strategies for overcoming these obstacles. I strive to establish clear lines of communication and ensure that all parties involved understand the intricacies of the real estate process. This may involve utilizing translation services, providing detailed explanations, and offering additional support to address any questions or concerns that may arise.

Furthermore, understanding the laws and regulations governing real estate transactions in the United States is crucial when working with overseas clients. Each country has its own legal and financial systems, and it is essential to guide clients through the nuances of the U.S. real estate market.
