Hi Macy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
Hi guys, my name is Macy and I have been a content creator for about 6 years now. I first started as an aspiring model. I went to many agencies for potential representation, however, no one took me. I started seeing what others were doing on Instagram and other social media platforms and went my way to making content.
From there, the rest is history! I originally was a travel blogger. Partnered with many hotels for travel and created content at those destinations. When covid hit, I had to transition my profile and everything I knew! It was a whirlwind, but it transitioned for the best.
I now have a universal page, where I work with brands with different niches, creating my content for a lifestyle niche. I even have a page where my real passion lies with home decor + inspo called @macysnook. So things changed for the best!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Social media isn’t real. Every job has its struggles. Many may think it’s super easy to do what creators do, but in reality, it’s super time-consuming. Balancing life and work can be difficult, so discipline is very important.
Another challenge is when companies or brands don’t see your value and try to lowball or have you work for free. I come across this daily. So it’s frustrating sometimes when people don’t see the value or potential you bring to the table for any collaboration or partnership! Always stick to your guns and worth!

I specialize in a lifestyle + fashion content with sub niches of wellness, travel, and women’s health. I am most proud of the network I have built for myself. I like to be involved and work with all kinds of brands that resonate in my life. and routine. I am just now getting into the home decor space on Tiktok @macysnook, so I am super excited to grow with that!
