Check Out Kayla Persaud’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayla Persaud.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story honestly started with wanting more — more freedom, more purpose, and more time with my family. I began in network marketing years ago as a way to contribute financially while still being present as a mom, and over time it turned into something much bigger than I ever imagined.

I’ve built businesses, rebuilt businesses, navigated major life changes, motherhood, personal growth, and the reality of balancing ambition with real life. One of the biggest turning points in my journey was choosing to walk away from a company I had spent years building in order to start fresh with a business that aligned more with my values and vision.

Today, I’ve created a lifestyle-centered brand focused on beauty, wellness, confidence, and helping women realize there are more ways than ever to create income and independence for themselves. I’m still growing, still learning, and still building — but that’s the beauty of the journey.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. While I’m incredibly grateful for where I am today, the journey has come with a lot of challenges, pivots, and growing pains.

One of the biggest struggles has been balancing entrepreneurship with motherhood and everyday life. Building a business while raising children requires constant adaptability, sacrifice, and learning how to wear multiple hats at once. There were seasons where I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and questioning whether I could continue doing both well.

Professionally, I’ve also experienced the difficulty of starting over. After investing five years into helping grow a previous company, I made the difficult decision to walk away and rebuild from scratch in alignment with my values and long-term vision. That transition came with uncertainty, criticism, and having to regain momentum all over again — but it also taught me resilience, integrity, and confidence in trusting my instincts.

Social media and entrepreneurship can also create pressure to appear like everything is always perfect, when in reality there are setbacks, disappointments, and moments of self-doubt behind the scenes. I’ve learned that growth often comes through those harder seasons, and some of my biggest breakthroughs came from moments that challenged me the most.

Looking back, I don’t think the struggles held me back — I think they shaped me into a stronger leader, mother, and businesswoman.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an entrepreneur, content creator, and leader in the beauty and lifestyle space, with a strong focus on helping women build confidence, community, and additional income streams through social selling and personal branding. A large part of my work centers around mentorship — teaching women how to grow online, market authentically, and create businesses that fit into real life and motherhood, rather than competing against it.

I specialize in relationship-based marketing, lifestyle content, and building teams through connection and trust rather than pressure or unrealistic expectations. Over the years, I’ve built a brand that blends beauty, wellness, motherhood, and entrepreneurship in a way that feels genuine and relatable to the women I serve.

What I’m most proud of is the impact behind the business. Beyond sales or rankings, seeing women gain confidence in themselves, create financial breathing room for their families, or realize they’re capable of more than they once believed is incredibly rewarding to me. I’m also proud of having the courage to rebuild and continue evolving, even when it would have been easier to stay comfortable.

I think what sets me apart is my transparency and the way I lead. I don’t try to portray a “perfect” version of success. I openly share the realities of balancing business, motherhood, growth, and setbacks, because I believe authenticity creates stronger connection and trust. People don’t just want polished content anymore — they want realness, relatability, and leadership that feels human.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Absolutely. I don’t believe success is ever built alone, and I’ve been fortunate to have an incredible support system throughout my journey.

My husband has played a huge role in helping make all of this possible. As an entrepreneur and mother, there are many moments that require travel, long days, networking events, or simply being pulled in multiple directions at once. He’s always helped hold things down at home and supported the bigger vision, even during the busiest seasons. Having that kind of partnership and support behind the scenes has meant everything to me.

I’m also incredibly grateful for the women I’ve met along the way — especially my “sideline sisters” within the industry. Entrepreneurship can feel isolating at times, and having other driven women around me who challenge me, motivate me, and keep me inspired has been invaluable. They’ve helped keep me sharp, encouraged, and constantly growing both personally and professionally.

My sales team deserves so much credit as well. They show up with so much heart, resilience, and dedication, even while balancing their own personal lives, families, and responsibilities. Watching them grow in confidence and step into their potential is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Their belief in the vision, their consistency, and the way they support one another is a huge part of the culture we’ve built together.

And of course, my customers are at the center of it all. Their trust, loyalty, support, and willingness to shop with me — whether for beauty, skincare, wellness, or simply the experience and connection we’ve built online — have allowed this business to grow into what it is today. I never take that support for granted. So many of them have been with me through different chapters of my journey, and I’m incredibly thankful for every person who continues to support my brand, my business, and my family through their purchases and encouragement.
