Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Machen.
Hi Jonathan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Using my life experiences as motivation, I have a mission to inspire others through deep and positive lyrics.
After having 80% of my body suffer burns, being bullied, becoming a single father of three, and losing my mother, I have many avenues to connect with listeners. I would love to discuss my mission and share how I’ve overcome and am building.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My struggles have been great and many… such as being a burn victim, being bullied as a child, becoming a single father of three, and losing my mother. Those things haven’t broken me, they’ve built me into the man I am.

I make real music that has substance. I’m an independent multi-genre artist.
My newest release is “Long Night” which I wrote and recorded in the memory of my wife’s grandfather.
He was a WW2 vet I lived for him and made this for him and for anyone who has lost someone.
