Hi Jenelly, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I am a Lifestyle Youtuber. I post Travel Vlogs, Fashion Hauls, Beauty Inspo & so much more! I began creating videos as a college student when I went to UCF in Orlando. I became very inspired to create more travel content during my study abroad experience when I lived in Vienna, Austria, and Madrid, Spain. Today I create content in my new beloved home city, Miami, Fl. Today I love sharing my Miami lifestyle at the Miami scenes. I love engaging with my audience and giving them recommendations on the top restaurants, clubs, lounges, and all kinds of venues. It is very rewarding to know I am enhancing their experience in different cities around the world.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being consistent on YouTube while working full time, maintaining my gym/ health routine and social life definitely comes with its challenges. Luckily, I have improved on my time management skills in order to prioritize YouTube and all of my social media outlets.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Luxury Concierge at the Ritz-Carlton. I absolutely adore my job and it is the best job I’ve ever had. I have the privilege of working at our exclusive Club Lounge and I cater to our Ritz-Carlton premium guests by providing them with personalized recommendations to Miami’s top venues, attractions, restaurants, and excursions. The lounge also has presentations that are “all you can eat” and “all you can drink”, so the lounge is one of the happiest departments on property. I love seeing our guests’ reactions when they arrive as the club lounge also has one of the best views of Miami Beach.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
The earlier you start the better. I always wished that I started earlier. I was too worried as to how I would be perceived by others. The sooner you can get out of your comfort zone and just jump in, the better! Nobody is perfect, don’t expect perfection for your first pieces of content. One day you will look back and see how far you’ve come!!!
