Today we’d like to introduce you to Janice Joseph.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always valued independence and dreamed of building something of my own. From a young age, I was inspired by entrepreneurship and the freedom that comes with owning a business. What sets me apart is my creativity—I enjoy developing new ideas, creating multiple streams of income, and finding innovative ways to grow.
I began working at 16 years old at Olive Garden, where I learned the importance of hard work, responsibility, and dedication. After graduating, I initially pursued a degree in pharmacy, but my passion led me to nursing instead.
Along my journey, I became a published author of My Heart, My Haven and its French edition, Mon Cœur, Mon Refuge. Through my writing, I hope to inspire others to embrace self-love, healing, and inner peace while encouraging them to believe in their own potential.
Today, I continue to grow as an entrepreneur while pursuing my dream of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. My goal is not only to achieve professional success but also to create a life of purpose, freedom, and fulfillment—one where I can make a meaningful impact, enjoy life, and inspire others to chase their dreams without fear.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing comes easy. You have to really want it. You have to learn to love yourself first and put yourself first before others because if you don’t, you’re going to regret a lot of things and have a lot of disappointments. It has not been a smooth road, but by the grace of God I’m checking off my goals one goal at a time.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am known for launching a book called my heart, my Haven, and also my decoration business. What are most proud of is because I never stop, I just keep going. I don’t stop. I just keep pushing forward. I might fall, but I pick myself up every time. What sets me apart from others is that I’m motivated I’m self driven. I’m always ready for the next level. Even if I fall down, I’m ready for the next level.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
What I was like growing up, I was very timid, but I love school. I never missed school days. I went to school every single day. Regardless if I was sick or not sick, I’m in school.
