Check Out Isabella’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabella.

Hi Isabella, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Quiomara Accesorios is more than a jewelry brand; it’s a tribute to love, resilience, and family. It was born from Isa’s desire to transform her story into inspiration: a journey that took her from Colombia to Miami, driven by unconditional love for her daughter Luciana. Each piece is unique, reflecting the beauty of special moments and the strength of those who wear them. More than just accessories, Quiomara is a symbol of connection, a reminder that love accompanies us every step of the way.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been an easy journey.
This is my second time as an entrepreneur. My first business was a clothing brand called Isabella Vásquez, which I had to close due to my daughter’s health issues.

Two years later, I started again with a new dream—my current accessories brand, which I continue to run with love and dedication.

Today, I proudly fulfill two roles that I truly love and am passionate about: being a mother and running my own business. Both have taught me that even when the road gets tough, it’s always worth fighting for what you love.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a fashion designer, graduated in Colombia. Back then, I had a brand that became very well known in my city. I even grew during the pandemic and managed to open my own showroom—I dreamed of expanding even more.

Then my daughter was born. I thought I would be able to continue with my brand, but due to health issues, I had to put everything on hold.

My husband and I made one of the hardest decisions of our lives: to move to another country, seeking better health and well-being for our daughter. That decision changed everything. We started over from zero, full of uncertainty, but also with hope.

Years later, with a lot of effort and love, I was able to start again. Today, we have a new brand—this time, of accessories. But our brand is not just about accessories; it represents who we are as a family. It tells our story, our values, and the strength that has brought us here.

What makes you happy?
My greatest joy is being able to dedicate myself to what I love: caring for my daughter while also working on accessory design—one of my greatest passions. Starting from scratch in a new country hasn’t been easy, but I feel deeply grateful for the chance to balance my role as a mother with my creative calling.

I know not everyone has this opportunity, especially in a world where life often revolves solely around work. That’s why I cherish every moment, every step forward, and every creation that is born out of love and dedication.
