Today we’d like to introduce you to Irina Sergeeva.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my journey with a deep interest in elegance, fashion, and personal transformation. Before entering the fashion industry professionally, I worked in hospitality management, which taught me discipline, communication, and how to work under pressure. At the same time, I was building my personal brand online and studying digital psychology, marketing, AI and personal development.
Over time, I transitioned into modeling and content creation professionally. I began participating in fashion weeks, beauty campaigns and editorial shoots, while also creating educational content around elegance, confidence, personal branding and modeling. Since then, I’ve walked for more than 55 designers during New York Fashion Week, Miami Swim Week, LA Fashion Week, and other fashion events in 2024/2025. I’ve collaborated with beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands and my work has been featured by platforms connected to Vogue, Getty Images, WWD and other media outlets.
My content has reached hundreds of thousands of viewers, with Reels going viral and being reposted by celebrities Conor McGregor,Dee Devlin,Celebrity designer Jesse J,Christian Siriano from C.Wonder brand as well as by Vogue Fashion Fund Member and Creative Director of Halston – Ken Downing.
I was also approved and featured in Instagram Shops by Tommy Hilfiger, JLO Beauty, Aliava brands and more.
Today, I combine several directions together: high-fashion modeling, UGC creation, mentoring aspiring models, digital psychology, and entrepreneurship. I’m also the founder of French Perfumery House. My goal has always been to create a career that combines beauty, intelligence, creativity, and business.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a completely smooth road. One of the biggest challenges was entering the fashion industry later than many traditional models. There are many stereotypes in fashion regarding age, background, and timing, so I had to work even harder to prove myself and stay consistent.
Another challenge was learning how to balance multiple careers at once: modeling, entrepreneurship, content creation, and mentoring. There were moments of rejection, difficult castings, projects that didn’t work out, and periods where growth felt slow.
Building a personal brand online also comes with pressure because people usually only see the polished final result, not the amount of work behind it. I had to learn how to stay focused, continue improving, and not compare my journey to others.
At the same time, those experiences helped me develop resilience and confidence. They also gave me the ability to mentor other women and aspiring models honestly, because I understand both the glamorous side of the industry and the difficult side behind the scenes.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in high-fashion modeling, luxury UGC content creation, elegance education, and personal branding. My work combines fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and digital psychology in a unique way.
I’m known for creating elegant and aspirational content while also educating my audience about confidence, femininity, modeling, and building a strong personal image. I work with fashion, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands, creating campaigns that feel both luxurious and authentic.
One thing that sets me apart is that I combine the artistic side of fashion with strategy and digital psychology. I don’t only focus on appearance , I focus on presence, communication, branding, and emotional connection with an audience.
I’m especially proud of building my career independently, participating in major fashion events, becoming a finalist in the Beauty category for the Rising Star Awards by Fashion Group International in New York, and mentoring other women who want to grow in modeling or personal branding.
I’m also proud that I continue evolving creatively while building businesses and educational projects alongside my modeling career.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
One of the biggest lessons I learned is that networking is not about asking people for favors, it’s about building genuine professional relationships over time.
What worked best for me was consistently showing up, staying professional, and creating value before expecting opportunities. Fashion is a very relationship-based industry, and people remember your energy, attitude, reliability, and communication skills.
I also believe mentorship is very important because the right mentor can save years of mistakes and help you understand how the industry actually works behind the scenes. When choosing a mentor, look for someone whose career and values genuinely inspire you, not only someone with a large following.
Another important thing is building your online presence. Today, social media acts almost like a portfolio and networking tool combined. Many collaborations, castings, and partnerships happen through Instagram, TikTok, and digital visibility.
Most importantly, stay patient and consistent. Real connections and long-term opportunities take time to build.
