Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Growing up in a Haitian household, food was always a big part of life, it brought joy, comfort, and connection. I’ve been cooking since I was 7 years old, it’s always been something I genuinely loved. One day I asked myself, “ Why not turn my passion into something real“ That’s when I started selling Haitian food and sharing my dishes online.
I started cooking to sell Haitian dishes locally, but I also wanted to do more than just serve food. That’s how Savor with Lina was born, a way to share my love for food while also shining a light on local restaurants and hidden gems.
Through my platform, I create content that showcases what different places have to offer from food spots to local experiences.
Over time, it turned into more than just food. I started doing content around travel, things to do, and brand collaborations. Now, I consider myself a content creator and influencer who loves capturing flavorful moments, exploring new places, and helping brands grow through creative content.
This journey has helped me work with amazing people,
and I’m excited for everything that’s still to come.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not! Like most journeys, it’s had its ups and downs. In the beginning, I struggled with consistency, trying to balance content creation with real life, other responsibilities, and just figuring out what worked for my audience.
On the food side, I’ve dealt with things like late or no-show customers, cancellations, and the pressure of making sure everything is fresh and perfect. On the content creating side, I’ve had to figure things out on my own what to post, how to grow, and how to connect with brands.
But through every struggle, I’ve stayed focused on my passion. Seeing people enjoy my content, support my business, and connect with what I do keeps me going. It’s not always smooth, but it’s all part of the journey.

I’m a content creator and influencer based in South Florida. I specialize in creating engaging video content that highlights food spots, local gems, and things to do through my platform, Savor with Lina. I also run a small Haitian food business, where I cook and sell dishes I grew up loving , it’s another way I connect with people through food.
What I’m most proud of is hearing from real people who tells me they visited a restaurant, tried something new, or supported a business because they saw it on my page. That kind of feedback reminds me that what I’m doing matters.
What sets me apart is that I’m intentional, whether it’s my content or my food sales, I treat everything I do like a real business. I focus on quality, creativity, and bringing people value, not just going with trends. Everything I put out is done with purpose and love.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Creating something that actually helps people, whether it’s a video that makes someone try a new spot or a plate of food that reminds them of home. I love knowing that something I put time and effort into made someone’s day a little better.
It’s the little things, someone tagging me because they tried what I posted, or coming back to order food again. That quiet impact, where I know people trust what I share, makes me feel like I’m on the right path.
