Today we’d like to introduce you to Gustavo Granados.
Hi Gustavo, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started almost 20 years ago as a model. Joined some models competition back in Venezuela, then I started traveling as a Model to Europe and Asia.
I quit modeling after 4 or 5 years and started my own Agency in Venezuela in 2007.
Representing Latin models around the World.
I moved to America 6 years ago in 2016, that was something I wanted to do even when I was a model, but at the end it was meant to do it as a Model Agent and Photographer.
Our models has worked for Armani, Benetton, Bvlgari, Forever21, Billabong, Nissan, Disney, Telemundo, Pandora jewelry,
I Fell in love with photography too, and I’ve photograph dozens of models, artists and celebrities.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing is easy, it has been hard, and it will be even harder.
Hundreds of closed doors, also emigrated to this country, firstly working in the constructions to support my family because the income wasn’t ready to live in this country, and many more things that makes the way and the goal even more appreciated.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m known for helping internationalize the career of aspiring models.
I’m always proud of seeing the person who I discovered, first photograph, or trained, doing what they love around the world, and getting paid for it.
Working in front of the camera definitely, I believe helped me when I first started and is still helping me now. To know what really a model expect and what agencies are also expecting from a talent is a key in this business.
Many models go out there without really knowing what to do and make lots and lots of mistakes.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
They mostly believe I’m only working for their dreams, which part of that is true, but I’m also working hard for mines.
