Today we’d like to introduce you to Good Problems Collective.
Hi Good Problems Collective, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Good Problems Collective is an artist collective and multimedia production house founded by Matthew Kelly and Christian Medina Beltz in 2020. Good Problems specializes in music, event production and digital content creation. Over the course of its existence, Good Problems has produced multiple concerts and events throughout California and the South Florida regions.
The company has also released a number of musical projects including Kelly and Medina’s collaborative “Knights in Tropicana” album. The release show for the project was held at Respectable Street in downtown West Palm Beach. From their, the venue eventually became home to SOUNDLAB, a monthly artist showcase hosted by Kelly.
In April 2026, after a year long residency at Respectable Street, South Florida’s premier artist and producer showcase moved to MAD Arts Immersive Space n Broward County. The transition to new space was made possible through an artist support grant for the Broward County Cultural Division.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s definitely been a long road and while we are still on the journey, we are appreciative of how far we’ve come as artists and entrepreneurs. Working in creative fields comes with peaks and valleys, the key is to never dwell too much on either.
Initially we struggled with finding the right lane for our creative direction and staying consistent with our output. Developing the discipline to take on the tasks necessary to build the business aspect of the work took some time as well. While there is always more to learn, having a strong foundation early on sets the tone for the future.

Like the name suggests Good Problems Collective is centered around cultivating community around music and the arts. We ground our work in authentic experiences to bring people together,
SOUNDLAB has been an excellent expression of this and We are especially thankful to all the, artists and supporters who have mode our residencies at Respectable Street in West Palm Beach and MAD ARTS in Broward County a success.

Everything we do is in house, from music production to graphic design and event planning,
