Check Out Glendy Rocha’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Glendy Rocha.

Hi Glendy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey has been one of faith, resilience, and reinvention. I’ve always been a creative person, but I didn’t start out knowing exactly where that creativity would take me. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats, from entrepreneurship and business management to community association management, but no matter what role I was in, I always found myself drawn back to storytelling and helping people.

Photography became much more than taking beautiful pictures. I realized that every image has the power to tell someone’s story, build confidence, and create opportunities. That realization led me to create Lifestyle Branding Media, where I now help entrepreneurs, professionals, and businesses build intentional brands through photography, video, and creative marketing.

The road hasn’t always been easy. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve experienced setbacks, moments of uncertainty, and seasons where I questioned what was next. But each challenge strengthened my faith, refined my purpose, and reminded me that our greatest obstacles often become the foundation for our greatest impact.

Today, I’m passionate about helping others be seen, not just through beautiful visuals, but by giving them the confidence to show up authentically in their businesses and their lives. Whether I’m photographing a brand, creating content, speaking with clients, or working on my upcoming book, my mission is the same: to inspire people to embrace their story, step into their purpose, and never let fear keep them from pursuing the life they were created for.

I’m still growing, still learning, and still dreaming bigger than ever before. For me, success isn’t just about building a business, it’s about building a legacy that encourages others to believe in themselves, trust God’s timing, and use their gifts to make a difference.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all. Like most entrepreneurs, my journey has been filled with both incredible highs and challenging lows. Building a business from the ground up requires a great deal of faith, persistence, and resilience. There were seasons when I questioned myself, faced financial uncertainty, and struggled to balance multiple responsibilities while trying to grow my business.

One of my biggest challenges has been learning to believe in my own value. As creatives, it’s easy to compare yourself to others or underestimate what you bring to the table. I had to learn how to confidently price my services, market myself, and trust that the right clients would recognize the value I provide.

I’ve also learned that setbacks are often opportunities in disguise. Whether it was losing clients, navigating difficult professional environments, relocating to Central Florida after 25 years in South Florida, traveling back and forth, or facing personal hardships, each experience taught me something valuable. Those moments strengthened my character, sharpened my business skills, and reminded me why I started in the first place.

Perhaps the greatest lesson has been understanding that success isn’t about avoiding struggles, it’s about embracing them and continuing to move forward despite them. Every challenge has made me more compassionate, more resourceful, and more determined to build a business that serves people with excellence and authenticity.

Looking back, I wouldn’t change the difficult parts of my journey because they’ve shaped not only the entrepreneur I am today but also the woman I’ve become. They taught me to trust God’s timing, embrace growth, and remember that every obstacle can become part of a greater purpose.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am first and foremost a Daughter of the Most High Kind, and the founder, faithful steward and creative director of Lifestyle Branding Media, a creative agency specializing in branding photography, videography, and content creation for entrepreneurs, professionals, and growing businesses. My passion is helping people tell their stories through authentic, high-quality visuals that not only look beautiful but also build credibility, increase visibility, and help them grow their brands.

I specialize in personal branding, professional headshots, business content, social media marketing, and event photography and video. I work with everyone from business owners launching a new venture to executives refreshing their professional image and organizations looking to document meaningful events. Every project begins with understanding my client’s vision because I believe great photography and story telling is about more than capturing a moment, it’s about communicating purpose.

What I’m most proud of is the confidence I see in my clients after a session. So many people walk in feeling nervous or unsure about being in front of the camera and leave feeling empowered, seen, and excited to share their story with the world. Knowing that my work helps someone step into new opportunities, whether that’s landing a client, launching a business, or simply believing in themselves, is the most rewarding part of what I do.

What sets me apart is that I don’t see myself as just a photographer. I see myself as a brand strategist and storyteller. My background in business, marketing, operations, and project management allows me to approach every client with a strategic mindset. I don’t simply create beautiful images, I create content with intention, helping clients build a cohesive brand that connects with their audience and supports their long-term goals.

At the heart of everything I do is my desire to serve people well. My faith, my experiences, and my own entrepreneurial journey have taught me that everyone has a story worth telling. My mission is to help people tell theirs with confidence, authenticity, and excellence.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I want readers to know that no dream is too big and no setback has the final say. Life will inevitably bring challenges, disappointments, and moments of uncertainty, but those seasons don’t define you, they prepare you for what’s ahead.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that success isn’t about having the perfect plan; it’s about having the courage to keep going, even when the path isn’t clear. Trust your journey, embrace every opportunity to grow, and don’t be afraid to start before you feel ready. The world needs what only you can offer.

I also hope to encourage more people, especially women and aspiring entrepreneurs, to invest in themselves and believe that their story matters. Your experiences, your struggles, and your victories all have purpose. Don’t hide them. Share them, because your story may be exactly what someone else needs to find hope and the confidence to keep moving forward.

As I continue to grow Lifestyle Branding Media, write my book, (oh yes its finally happening) and pursue new opportunities, my mission remains the same: to inspire, empower, and remind people that with faith, perseverance, and a willingness to take the first step, extraordinary things are possible.

Above all, I want my legacy to be one of impact. I hope people remember me not only for the images I created, but for the lives I encouraged, the confidence I helped build, and the reminder that every person has a story worth telling.
