Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriel Fuste.
Hi Gabriel, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey began about 15 years ago when I first walked into a church.
At the time, I had lost everything and was starting from scratch.
Since I was a kid, I had always loved the arts—but I never saw it as a real career path. After a few failed business attempts, something unexpected happened: through the church, I began learning about design, photography, videography, production, branding, and so much more.
It was truly a blessing in disguise, and looking back, it’s clear that God used that moment to open a new door I never saw coming.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s definitely not been a smooth journey—far from it.
There were countless trials and errors, sleepless nights, and more than a few people who told me I’d never succeed in this industry.
But I’ve learned to silence the noise and trust God. He’s opened doors I never imagined possible—blessing me with opportunities to work with amazing brands like Oster, Nikon, and many others. Even more special has been the community: the friendships I’ve built around the world mean just as much as the work.
I’ve always believed that “every challenge or failure thrown our way is just another brick we lay down to build our future.” And looking back, I see how those bricks have built something beautiful—one step at a time.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a Creative Director and Visual Strategist, but at my core—I’m a storyteller on a mission. A lot of my creativity flows from my deeper purpose: leading people closer to Christ. I believe in the beauty of transformation—taking what starts as nothing and helping it become something meaningful, something that speaks, something that lives.
I specialize in turning vision into reality—whether that’s a brand campaign, a social media strategy, or a short film. What sets me apart isn’t just the visuals I create—it’s the intention behind them. I love watching people light up when they see their ideas come to life, when they feel understood and seen through the creative process.
Every day has its struggles—I’m no stranger to that. But it’s often in the quiet, still moments that I receive the clearest creative direction—where I can visualize things most can’t, and trust that God is downloading something worth building. That’s what I’m most proud of: not just what I make, but Who I make it with.
Any big plans?
I’ve learned to dream big, but walk step by step. I have many plans on my heart, but I’ve also learned to stay open to where God leads—because His plans are always greater than mine.
One dream I’m carrying is to create a short film honoring my grandparents. They were Cuban immigrants with an incredible love story—something I only truly discovered through old letters and photos. My grandfather traveled between New York and Cuba, and their love was kept alive through handwritten notes and portraits they mailed to each other. I never got to witness that story firsthand, but I want to bring it to life visually—not just for me, but for others who value the strength of family and legacy.
Another vision I’m working on is a clothing line that represents culture, Christ, and family. I’ve already begun designing pieces inspired by my Cuban roots—styles that speak to faith, identity, and heritage in a bold, modern way.
But above all, my future plans are anchored in this: I’ll go wherever God takes me. My life, my creativity, and my story belong to Him.
