Today we’d like to introduce you to Ferggie Coll.
Hi Ferggie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began my makeup career back in 2015 after moving from Venezuela when I decided to start a new life in the US, choosing Miami as my first location. The beauty industry in Miami was challenging but with passion and hard work, I was able to succeed. Putting myself in Social Media’s spotlight lead me to work on incredible projects with big brands, public figures, and celebrities.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I was raised in a country where opportunities are very limited. When I reached adulthood, I decided to leave my old life behind, which required a lot of mental strength. I had no family, no home, no money, no connections, I had to start from the bottom, but my goal was always to go up. That’s why I always look for a positive side in every single challenge that life brings me because I see everything as a blessing.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I consider my work to be sexy and full of character, I like to personalize the looks, get inspired by the theme and the styling, with makeup and beauty everything is a vision that comes together. I am proud of how I have been crafting my art, my portfolio, my content, it is important not only to be great at what you do but to know how to catch the eye and make it interesting.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
My grandma Carmen is a painter and I always watched her painting and creating amazing things with her hands while also looking glamorous! Her hair will always look incredible, she had a lot of jewelry and I used to love playing with her vanity and wear her lipsticks and pearls as in the movies. I went to swimming and tennis school, dance classes, camps, cheerleading, I will perform in front of an audience and prepare myself to be the best I could in every single act.
