Check Out Elizabeth Schmehl’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Schmehl

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started making digital art back in 2021, so three years ago, started making celebrity art of my favourite actors and actresses for a fan page on social media in the beginning. My art style is digital art content as I use photo editing software, filters, AI filters and image blending with AI, and I also make AI art content as well.
My artwork turned into business, after trial running it after my friends and family was buying from me of clothes and calendars which was in 2023. In February this year, I turned it into a full fledged micro business brand and model, print to demand of my artwork content on different platforms and online stores and online shops, I registered Studio 2660 for tax purposes with IRS in March 2024, receiving a EIN to trade in American marketplaces and in online shops based in America with American providers who have online shops and online shopping facilities, I have a number of online shops and stores based in America for trading purposes and ship worldwide facilities for my fans all over the world can buy a T shirt with my art on the front. The Studio 2660, is the business name registered in Australia, and trades in Australia and internationally. Both names are related to each other as the American government agency didn’t recognise “the” in front of Studio 2660. Liz Schmehl’s Art is a registered business name in Australia, and am currently trademarking it in the USA and Australia and my artwork of both celebrity art style and my other artwork is covered by copyright laws in both countries. Where I am up today, is that my artwork is now available to people everywhere on my own brand, and they can wear it, hang it on a wall and so on.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, smooth road, I had to change providers and website providers because of the costs involved on a monthly basis to keep cost down while I build an authentic brand and trusted brand to my audience internationally. As the economy is very volatile and slow at the moment even though online sales have supposed to have grow since the pandemic…

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a professional person, initially my background is in business administration and have worked in a government agency for about 8 years and half, but last year I took time off to concentrate on my health, such as I suffer with a chronic back injury which is very painful on a daily basis. I have over 22 years of experience in business administration in various industries. I am also qualified social media marketer which is a recent addition in my career, but being a digital artist/ Digital AI artist now also on there as a qualified profession, I have loved my job in business as well as my creative work but I also love sharing it, which you can find on social media on Instagram, Facebook and X. I am proud of myself of what I have achieved, and that I am also making an income out of my passion.
