Check Out Claudia Rosario’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudia Rosario

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started polishing my own nails when I was in high school. I would do simple designs I found on YouTube. I never thought of doing nails professionally until it was mentioned to me at a job I had. I looked into a few beauty schools, chose 1, and attended. The rest is history. I’ve worked at a few nail salons, learned from some amazing people, and finally started my own business.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Everything has its ups and downs. I love doing nails and I love having my business. I’m responsible for every aspect of my business and that’s where the challenge comes in. Checking inventory, communication with clients, creating content, and finding the balance between business life and personal life. I wouldn’t trade it for anything though!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a nail technician/artist specializing in hand painted gel nail art using Japanese gels. I would say I’m known for by my clients, for my line work. I’m honestly proud how far I’ve come with art and of the relationship I’ve created with my clients. They trust me. With their time and their nails. I believe what sets me apart is how much of a perfectionist I am. I would wipe of a line 5 times because I don’t think it’s straight enough.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was more athletic. I played sports. I was outside a lot, riding my bike or rollerblading. Personality wise, I was fairly shy. Once I got to know someone is when my outgoing side would come out. As for interest, I loved anything criminal justice. True crime, law and order, documentaries.
