Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryan Macharia.
Hi Bryan, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story started at the beginning of 2023.
Since I was young I was always captivated and raised up on music and all the genres that came with it, and growing up I always wanted to tell the stories behind some of my favourite artists and songs.
Which then lead to me starting a YouTube channel and telling the stories of certain artists and songs, and how they play pivotal roles in music history.
Through the last few years, I have stayed consistent in posting brand new edits and videos of my favourite songs/artists, leading to me recently achieving 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, in this path of content creation, you tend to look at views and analytics and when a video doesn’t perform as well as you hoped, it can obviously make you feel down, but you just have to keep pushing through those down periods.
Through all the ups and downs, it literally is about pushing through and consistently striving for more, every time.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
So I’m a content creator with several social media pages, but YouTube being my main point of focus.
I edit interviews and music videos in unique ways, making sure I’m able to tell the story of a certain song or an artists rise in music, and make it visually appealing to the audience that’s watching it.
What sets me apart from others is that my videos are always unique, and edited from scratch by me, which is something I’m very proud of.
One of my proudest moments is several of my favourite artists growing up, recognising the work I do and showing me love on social media pages.
