Hi Anna, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Thank you very much for this great opportunity. Hello everyone! My name is Anna Barron. I am a proud Mexican-American. I was born on December 7th, 2001 in Beverly Essex Massachusetts, a couple of months after I was born I arrived in the city of Saltillo Coahuila and at the age of two my family and I moved to the beautiful city of Querétaro where I live at the present day. Since I was very little I have considered myself an outgoing girl, very creative, curious and talkative of course; I would like to start by telling you that since I was a kid, I’ve liked to invest in products to sell them and get my own money. And precisely this June looking to be able to afford a summer camp I started working at an e-commerce.
This year 2022 I´ve been able to give so much clarity to my life and I am really glad to have this opportunity to connect with people.
I assure you that there are years that ask questions and years that give the answers. Not everything is now! Life takes its time. I believe that everything in due time is taking place in your life and helps you create the path to fulfill your purpose.
I would be lying if I tell you that I know how many times I bought or created something to launch my own business. From buying dozens of cute antibacterial gels with fruity scents, sell natural personal care products, make scrunchies… etc, etc. and of course I don´t forget when in fourth grade with a friend we had the great idea of pet grooming. P.S. We only bathed one dog, ( and it was my friend’s…)
That’s an entrepreneur’s life; you always learn from mistakes and the day you decide to dig deep and discover what your talents are and what you aspire to do in life, an idea comes to your mind and is implanted in the depths of your heart. and it is possible little by little to make it a reality.
In October 2021 I started selling laminated gold jewelry and today I am renewing the concept of my boutique. This 2023 I will start to introduce new products and I have also decided to give my store a new name and concept “Purpose by Anna” because my motto is “Everything has a purpose.”
Inspired and determined to prepare myself professionally, I have decided to study in business administration; honestly I believe that life is too short to only dedicate yourself to one thing and not try everything we want to do. There are so many things that I would like to do, even if it is at least once in my life. So many topics that I want to learn about every day.
Currently, I have been creating content for my YouTube channel for three years in which I share personal experiences and vlogs of my trips because traveling is one of my hobbies. For February 2022 I had to renew my US passport; I ventured to do the whole process alone and decided to upload a video tutorial; from this video people have requested my service to make their appointments for their interview around Mexico. This is how I have connected and met quite a few amazing Mexican Americans. And I can assure you that this is only the tip of the iceberg; it is the beginning of everything I want to do.
I assure you that it is never too late to start because… EVERYTHING HAS A PURPOSE!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The harsh reality is that one does not know even 45% of a person’s life. To this day I honestly don’t feel ready to publicly tell about the difficulties and disappointments I have experienced in university life… But I know that one day I will do it without filters.
I emphasize… Everything has an incredible purpose.
There are those who support you, who attack you, who call you ridiculous for thinking and acting differently, cruel but true, there are also those who are there day and night reminding you of your failures; it is valid to speak! Get away from there for peace and sanity.
If one day the plan fails, the strategy is changed but not the objective.
Life is not a clear path that leads directly to your goals, there are obstacles at every step, and it is what makes life and projects interesting, challenging. If it was easy everyone would do it. We all have a story to tell.
Personally, it has been difficult to decide on a career, I came to feel too much pressure to already study a degree, the parents are the parents and I know they want the best for us but in that angst to help us, they come to oppress us, which I personally feel is hurting us. It drives you crazy and does not help to clarify all those existential doubts.
Mental problems are also a harsh reality, it is not something you are looking for, it comes without warning and the process to get out is not easy.
Remember to yourself well that you are in this world with a precious and unique purpose and there is a vacancy that only you can fill.
From the zero moment of your existence, you are a warrior who has faced adversity, you can handle this and much, much more.

In my biography, I would put: Anna Barron: Entrepreneur, dancer, vlogger, and a girl under construction… I am proud to know today the direction my life is taking; I have so much to give and to create.
I want to start presenting my own business:
-Purpose by Anna is my boutique under construction; I currently work with clothing and accessories, the goal is to create my own line of clothing specialized in dance.
-Anna Barrón is how you can find my main YouTube channel. As I already mentioned, my motto is “everything has a purpose” and under that motto is that I like to create content.
I tell anecdotes based on my own experience, always leaving a life lesson; I create vlogs of the places I have traveled to.
-I have a second channel under the name of Coffee time with Anna
I create reviews of books and movies; I investigate in depth about the subject and leave my point of view. This 2023 my goal is to start interviewing people who inspire me and whose story is an example of resilience.
-As a third project I present Studio 22: I currently have my channel and soon I will start uploading choreographies. In my life plan is to have my own dance academy.
I haven’t danced for about two years but it’s something I really enjoy a lot. I have been in all kinds of dance classes, mainly ballet, jazz, tap, aerial dance, hip hop, and contemporary.
From 2020 to 2021 I had the opportunity to give private lessons for the first time to two littles Emma & Bruno.
I know that everything takes time and at this moment I have to prioritize other issues, but I hope soon I can return to my classes as a dancer.
The last year before this break I started taking pointe classes and I won a solo for “pas de trois” and that somehow motivated me and inspires me on this project of my own dance academy.
I can officially share that I am a writer in the making… This 2023 I finish writing my first book and I can’t say more…
I just know that the whole process excites me and there is a whole mastermind behind this coming soon project.
-This year I gave priority and took advantage of what it is to be a Mexican American and in the process, I have been able to help and meet many people with their interviews for the US passport.
-I also work as an assistant in an e-commerce, “V style” I do everything from inventory, customer service, and even the content for the page.
In respect of my career, I think it is a plus that will help me improve every day to be of help in V style for the time I am in it and everything that encompasses my projects.
With pride and joy, I shout WHAT A GREAT YEAR 2022! It has allowed me to create and innovate all those dreams that I thought were far away and this is just beginning.
I think what sets me apart from others is my ability to be resilient, the way I see things, the way I work on my dreams, the goal is to be better than you were yesterday. This is: hard work and prayer without looking around.
Everyone goes at their own pace and comparing yourself will not enrich anyone.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
My 2022 was even more special thanks to Miami. I had the opportunity to visit this beautiful city this year.
I love the freedom that is breathed and lived, that everyone is in their business, one can walk calmly through the streets, wear what you want, and not be judged. The people are beautiful, attentive and friendly, they even give you recommendations for places to visit, they make you feel at home.
Something that I would change would be that there are places that are somewhat neglected in terms of hygiene or maintenance. Due to the extreme freedom, it is very easy or shameless to run into people consuming illegal substances, which is uncomfortable and insecure. From my experience walking on Ocean Drive, they offered me their substances.
But honestly, I have no other negative comment, this city is beautiful in every way; I dare to say that one of my favorites so far in the USA.
